I stayed at Little Corn Beach and Bungalow for a couple of nights earlier this month and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I first reached out about a reservation through the end of my stay on Little Corn, the customer service really was top notch. My cabin was clean and well-equipped; most important, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Also worth mentioning that the food at the restaurant was consistently good. If I have one complaint, it's that I didn't plan for a longer stay.
My family loves Little Corn Island and the the only place to stay there is the Little Corn Beach and Bungalow. Scot and Kristine are the most incredible hosts who take care of everything. The staff are always there to serve, but know how to drop back wait until you are ready. The food is superb with some excellent island twists on standard fare. The Elvis Burger is something else. As are the pulled pork sliders. Their coconut toast kills my Keto diet whenever I am there. As for Gilligans island, you'll find the SS Minnow washed up on shore and the professor hard at work with his home grown wind turbine just up the beach. Try to visit every year.
Im home and I already miss LCBB. The view from our bungalow was a daily delight. Ocean waves, sunrises, lovely sand and the ocean breezes reached our bedrooms. We were greeted each morning by fresh juice and coffee. The ocean- warm and calm- was steps away.Off to breakfast, I had the best French toast of my life together with the banana pancakes- fantastic. I was in the water multiple times a day with naps and movies on our iPad in between. Scott the owner has done an extraordinary job.he service was outstanding. Every need was anticipated. Shira and Saida were amazing. When we were in the beach loungers, Saida would pop up out of nowhere and offer drinks. Shira was continually helping us in everyway. The other staff were super friendly- from the beach smoothers to the security guard. I cant overemphasize how incredible the staff was. It was pampering plus. And it was a truly beautiful resort.Everything is in USD. Palm trees had been carefully organized and it was bliss to sit on the porch looking at the trees, hear the birds and look again at the ocean Its hasn't been discovered yet. World travelers backpacking come to this island. Lots of interesting conversations. You do have to take a couple flights and a boat. It is 100% worth it. The power is off for a few hours. And the village that you get to through the jungle-isnt much. But so what...the warmth and beauty of LCIBB will completely make up for it. Go to Little Corn Island before it becomes really discovered.. You will not regret it.…
Little Corn Beach & Bungalows was so much more than we expected, lovely accommodation that catered for all our needs, very well maintained and clean grounds and beach area, the service was exceptional, such friendly and helpful staff, the owners pay particular attention to detail, this is the nicest place we have stayed for years and we are big travellers, bravo guys !
We had an amazing 3 night stay at LCBandB, and had I known just how fantastic it would be I would have booked more nights there and less on Big Corn. The service here is the best I have had in recent memory and certainly the best I have come across in my 10 plus living and traveling in Nicaragua. From the moment you arrive the staff greets you by name. Sheera, a stand out employee, gave a very informative and entertaining welcome orientation and she continued to be a delight throughout our stay. Our Bungalow was filled with fresh flowers, water, snacks and a delicious bottle of wine. The room itself is very cute with a comfortable bed and a charming, private and romantic feel. The location seemed a bit far from anything at first, but as soon as we got our bearings straight we found the location to be ideal and easily walked to the many beautiful beaches and into the town where there are a couple of decent restaurants although not nearly as good as The Turned Turtle hotel restaurant. Owner Scott and waiter David were two other standouts, although everyone at the hotel was very hospitable. An unexpected late check out was offered and was a very thoughtful end to our stay. Super....just super!…
We had an amazing stay at LCBB and for sure it is one of the most memorable experiences we had during our recent travels in central America. The hotel location and facilities are absolutely stunning but what makes the stay & experience so exceptionally special are the owner Scott and his very attentive and friendly staff. No detail is overlooked to ensure your comfort and enjoyment, no matter how small it is, they are always available to help. We lalso ooked forward to our nightly forest walk back from the center. The food was super delicious too so all in all a stay that exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.
Great hotel, customer service is excellent, food is amazing. One of the nices views from the island, will describe it as a gem in the Atlantic of Nicaragua. Many thank to Scott, and all the friendly staff. Will come back with family again, I recommend little corn island beach and bungalow, the place to stay in the island
I am a repeat visitor to Little Corn Island Beach and bungalow. It's one of my favorite places in the world. Every detail is taken care of while preserving the isolated caribbean feel. It's a beautiful place with an incredible staff. The food at the Turned Turtle is great it's my favorite place to eat in all on Nicaragua. My only wish is that it's a long trip from my home in Spain
Our experience at Little Corn Beach and Bungalows was top notch. They arranged a driver and private panga for us. Once we landed on Big Corn Island, Elvis the private driver picked us up in his truck and we headed to the other side of the island where we meet Captain Peter. We embarked on Capt Peter’s panga and cast off on our 30 min trek across the sea to little Corn. Once we arrived at the Little Corn Beach and Bungalows we fell in love with the area. The host David met us at the beach and welcomed us with a great beach welcome. Our bungalow was right near the water and the breeze felt great our whole stay. The bungalow we had also had a loft with a bed in it and our five year old had a great time up there. The room was very nice and had all the amenities you could want with a five star feel. The owner Scott took the time to welcome us and made every guest that arrived feel very welcomed. The second day Capt Petter took us for a great snorkeling trip where we saw tons of fish, a sting ray, and even a reef shark. The restaurant there ‘Turned Turtle’ has the best food on the island. We would give this place ten stars if we could and this was a great place to stay with kids. Highly recommend and we will be going back.…
I was born in Managua but left when I was young, raised mostly in the US. My mom frequents Nicaragua yearly, and on this trip I decided to join her. I wanted us to explore Corn Islands, since we both had never been. Looking at the pictures online we were both eager. I did my research of the island first and we could not have selected a much better place to stay. We spend 3 nights in little corn and one night in Big corn. honestly now I wish we would have stayed the extra days in little corn. This B & B is beyond relaxing, and comfortable, but the service and staff were exceptional! My mom and I truly loved it. The restaurant's food was so delicious, we wanted to try everything on the menu. The presentation was superb, but above all the costumer service was on point. We not only felt safe, but felt so appreciative as the staff was always checking on us ensuring we were good. We really felt for the value of what we paid it was all worth it. My mom looked forward to the coffee and fresh squeeze juice brought to our room every morning. Event the staff ensuring the beach, beach chairs and our luggage were handled properly, we enjoyed every day of our stay. We can't wait to go back. This is definitely our paradise within a paradise!
