I chose the Park Hotel because it is away from the noise but on the road to from Guatemala City to Coban; the bus from Guatemala City to Coban can drop you at the hotel. The hotel is well protected by high cement walls and armed security guard at the gated entrance to the property. The grounds are well maintained... More

Large and characterless hotel with nice gardens and you have to walk to individual blocks of houses down concrete ramps. They are poorly signposted and badly lit and at night and in rain it wasn’t much fun. Add to that the large rooms were cold, damp and musty with hard beds which seemed more or less clean. I shared my... More

We rented two rooms in Venice area. Everyone enjoyed the hotel, but it's definitely not a 5 star hotel. PROS: Ramps everywhere so my mom who is in a wheelchair was able to get everywhere. Rooms were very clean Service was great Has several restaurants to chose from Food was good. No one got sick. Beautiful grounds Well staffed CONS:... More

This hotel use to have passable service but the last time I was there they waiter told us we could only have one glass of water per person! We had to ask for the items that the menu said came with our meal and literally had to wave down the waiters to get service. The food is ok but not... More

The food is good, there are three restaurants at you disposal (pizza & pasta, meat and home cooked meals). Breakfast consisted of a buffet which included a little bit of everything. The rooms are quite nice, everything you expect it to be: clean, spacious, with everything you need. The only downfall was (at least in my room, located in Torre... More

First off the Park Hotel is incredibly quirky with a strong 1980-90's vibe, the many different buildings, bungalows, dining rooms and conferences centres makes it feel a little bit all over the place. It's landscaped throughout with multiple trails and paths to walk around the property. At night this is somewhat interesting experience with the haunting sound of wild peacocks... More

The Park Hotel makes for a good "base" in the Coban area. It's a quirky place to say the least. The hotel property is massive and consists of more than a dozen buildings (all named for Italian cities) which include a variety of hotel rooms, cabins, conference centers, restaurants, and other buildings of unclear use. There is a wide range... More

I was part of a great photography event organized by #shutterguatemala and Inguat at this hotel. They gather around 200 people to learn about photography. We decided to stay in the same hotel for ease. It is an excellent place with 3 restaurants. A little zoo, lots of trees and salons. It is near Coban and on your way to... More
