Check in with passport, vaccine certificate and payment. Reception staff helpful. They were able to book my boat ticket to Koh Kood and taxi to the pier. Everything was clean and well maintained. Comfortable looking room, everything worked just fine. The breakfast buffet was adequate. One can only laugh at how paranoid the government has made the people over wearing the mask while the rest of the world gets on with life. Unfortunately, I did not have a good night'ssleep, no thanks to many Thai guests slamming doors and talking loudly in the hallway from well before my wake up time. I was even woken up for a third time by three Thai women knocking on my door. They had the wrong room but no courtesy of an apology forthcoming for disturbing my sleep. Just be aware that Trat city is really spread out in area. Google Maps seems to show no matter where you are you need your own transport or rely on taxis.…
We were only staying one night so weren’t expecting much. We were extremely surprised at the hotel and room. It was clean, comfortable and no Thai style concrete bed. The bed was amazing to sleep in which made for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ok, we have had a lot better and a lot worse so it was on par. If we were ever back this way again I would be staying here. There is a restaurant next door which has great food and there was love music (Friday night)
We had a long day travelling by road from bangkok.found this lovely little hotel on booking.com..brand new and shiny..£10 each for the night with breakfast..100% recommend...would definitely stay again
Good area. Have everything that you may need during a trip. Several convenient store around. Coffee shop, Bar and Restaurants, Spa, widely parking lot are in the same area. About 200 meters from Tesco Lotus shopping mall.
Spent one night in family room. Overall nothing to complain. Good service, good room, good pool, easy access. I totally recommend this hotel for short stay. Reception staff speak very good English. Breakfast was good too. Not many variety of food but what we ate was good.
Room # 501 ( Top Floor ) A great stay. Reception allowed us an early check in - thank you :) Rooms were just as shown on Agoda pictures. Modern, Clean and everything working. My Wife used the gym and was happy with the equipment. Wife worked great and was fast. Breakfast was Buffet style and was just plain Yummy. That morning they had a Red Curry Chicken Thai dish - Hot, Spicy & Perfect!! We would happily stay here again.
Have not stayed in hotel but son did and said very good. Pool really nice but be very careful as gets very wet on walkways around pool. My daughter in law had a bad fall as lack of maintaining areas by staff. Lack of poolside selection of food and drinks so could improve this too.
We decided to break our journey to the island of Koh Mak with an overnight stop in Trat. Flying from Bangkok to Trat Airport is only an hour, although Trat Airport itself is quite away from anywhere. So we arranged with the hotel for them to send a car and pick us up. It was a bit pricey at 800 b. But we thought it was worth paying for Peace of mind. If your flying to Trat I would advise some thought about your onward journey before you get there as there’s not much there. There is a Taxi / limousine company at the airport but they seemed to be organising Minibuses to Koh Chang. Trat City Hotel is clean and tidy. The room was a little on the small side, but adequate for our needs. The view from our small balcony wasn’t great, overlooking some garages. Breakfast was buffet style with a kind of Thai / continental cuisine. The staff were helpful, and spoke a little English and were very happy to order us a taxi to Leam Ngop Pier the next morning. I would especially recommend the Hapa Bar and Restaurant next door, where we went for our Evening meal. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. If you want a one night place to stop I would definitely recommend. But if you’re thinking of stopping longer you might want to look for something with a bit more. …
The hotel is okay to spend maybe one night but not more, the room is reasonable to the price but the location to go for a walk I would not recommend. Has a decent restaurant that’s very close, steps from the reception but that’s all. Unfortunately the staff doesn’t speak almost any English which makes it a bit difficult and the breakfast is very disappointing.
Family of 3 stayed 2 nights from Saturday to Monday. Very clean room. Walking distance from bus trminal and citymarket (approx. 1.6 km). Compact fitness room (above changing&closets) and pool are next door. Breakfast is good and fresh. Hotel is used by Thai people mostly. Best recommends.
