Super place to be if you love to relax, have a beer with great food both, Sri Lankan and continental; a safari to the other side of the fence of Yala in the evening. To top it the shales are cozy and everything you need is available, beds for 5 people, state of the art toilets too. Friendly staff and their flexibility made my stay more worthwhile. Loved it.
We stayed for two nights, loved the jungle and enjoyed luxury tented accomodation. The staff was super friendly, the evenings were beautifully lit up with kerosine lamps and a bonfire on the BBQ night,
We had a second magical experience at Kulu. This time we brought parents along. Kulu organized an unbelievable adventure for all of us. The staff took amazing care of all especially the seniors. They were very kind to them. Manju and Rohan did an amazing job again doing very different things to the norm with River Baths , hike to Situlpajuwava, . We also much appreciate everyone behind the scenes and at the camp. So much looking forward to coming back one day. Wishing you guys all the best and hoping for a recovery in tourism.
Kulu Safaris exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful slice of nature, very peaceful with abundant flora and fauna. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with beautiful, green views. The food was fresh and delicious. The kitchen team catered to our family's range of dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten free. Outstanding. We were lucky to go on daily safaris, where we saw the full range of animals Sri Lanka has to offer. But the real highlight was the great service. The small family of staff were attentive, kind and engaging. Our guide, Manju, and driver, Rohana, in particular were full of knowledge and provided an extra layer of interest to the trip.
Service levels at Kulu keeps getting better. Stayed 2 nights for the 2nd time..and I must say they raised the bar in terms of service. Manjula and the crew were extremely hospitable and we always enjoyed the food at Kulu. Kids absolutely love the place and the experience and we managed to do the hill climb as well this time. If its Yala, it will always be Kulu for us.
