We went to Yala National Park in early April and stayed at Leopard Trails. It was a wonderful experience. Here's why: 1) AMAZING guide Dhanu! His youthful looks mask his deep experience as a safari guide. Dhanu taught us how to spot deer calls to track leopards. We ended with seven separate leopard sitings. Bonus: Dhanu is exceptional good with...

We spent three nights at Leopard Trails which permitted us 2 early morning and 2 late afternoon trips into Yala National Park along with one all day (6am to 6pm) visit. Yala NP can be very busy and staying at Leopard Trails facilitates using the northern park entrance that is much less busy. Our trips were guided by Head Ranger...

Stayed tow nights here and had 4 Game Drives. Saw everything except a Leopard but the rest made up for it all. You are in the bush but in comfort and facilities are excellent. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable and evening meal is by candlelight after drinks round a campfire. Definitely reccommended.

If I could have given more stars I would! Starting from our communication with Arshad, which was always immediate and efficient, to the transport arranged by LT from Colombo to LT (thank-you, Wanni, excellent driver), to the welcome at LT (cold towels, homemade drinks, big smiles and lots of information)... Our guide was Amidu who was superb, amazing! Always happy...

Absolutely loved our stay at Leopard Trails. The guides are all awesome! They are so knowledgeable and funny too - we learned a lot and laughed a lot! Hopefully we didn't scare too many leopards away...! The food was next level too. We didn't expect such incredible Sri Lankan food in such a remote spot, but we were really impressed....

This is our 1st visit Sri Lanka, we was browsing the net to search for places for leopard, surprisingly Yala National Park has one of the best review where leopard is one of the most concentrated population wildlife here. One of the main reason that we choose Leopard Trails, is because the friendly manager called us after we send in...

This was the highlight of our holiday, camp is beautiful food great and staff exceptional!, thank you Keith! We managed to see a leopard but if we had not there is an abundance of fantastic wild life in the parks. Tents super luxury and a great out door shower, part of the camping experience. We would highly recommend Leopard trails.

The over-the-top safari tents! Great personable guides! Good food! Attentive service! Animals! We had a wonderful experience, went on two safaris per day, didn't need to deal with any logistics since it was all inclusive, enjoyed our air-conditioned tent with attached outdoor shower, had great meals visiting with the other guests, slept to the sounds of frogs and chirping insects...

My husband and I spent three nights with Leopard Trails and it was just exceptional. The safaris were great. We visit two different blocks 5 and 1. At block 5 we had less jeeps and it was just great. Unfortunately we just saw the movement of a leopard behind the bushes, but we have seen a sloth bear with a...

The staff at Leopard Trails bent over backwards to look after us and we really appreciated it. They made delicious meals, made sure we were well served with drinks, and went out of their way to spot wildlife for us. Unfortunately, unlike other reviewers, we went out on four game drives and did not see a single leopard. They tried...
