We stayed at colours of life after a couple of days in weligama town and we find relief after the noise of the busy town. We spent 6 nights there and it was so amazingly nice the familiar atmosphere that dinesh, his brother and the staff can give to this place. They are extremely helpful with anything and dinesh is a top quality chef! These are the kind of persons that you can call "friends" when you are back home, not only very discrete, gentle and professional but very good people. I would recommend to all to stay @ colours of life!
Thanks Dinesh and Suresh for these lovely staying at Colours of life. We felt like at home, also the food was great! We find many optiones to eat. The rooms are bright and the location is a few meters from the beach.See you next time Abrazos
A little hard to find as it’s out of the way, on a side street off the main road to coconut beach. We went in earlier to tell them we were coming for dinner, and had an amazing selection of curries and dal. Very reasonably priced. Followed by a huge waffle with ice cream, also delicious. Rooms available to stay but we didn’t this time, although look great. Definitely recommend.
This place is well curated, beautiful, well staffed, quiet, steps from a great beach and waves, and serves both amazing Sri Lankan curries as well as waffles, juices etc. I stayed 5 nights and loved every minute. The guys there are extremely accommodating and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, it’s the perfect mix of everything you need. I would stay for a whole season if I could. Also the little town of Gurubebila is tucked off the main road away from the larger tourist scene so you feel like you’ve stepped into a special little community most people visiting the south coast don’t see.
We ate delicious waffles at Colours of Life restaurant. The place has a very good vibe, and looks great. The staff/owner is a really nice guy. Highly recommend going to this place for dessert (or other food).
