I spent 2 weeks in the Aquarius Beach Resorts in August 2019 and felt absolutely not welcome and comfortable. The terrain seems rather run-down and ruined. On our arrival, a pile of waste lay around on our way to the room. The sports hall is missing parts of a wall and there is dirt and broken glass on the floor. We wanted to play table tennis and we were given two broken, unusable halves of a plate. In the second week the water of the pool has changed from blue to green. In addition, there are no sunshades in the pool area and sunbeds were only made available to us in the second week. In my opinion, the tours that can be booked via the hotel are very expensive and badly organized. Our room was fine except for some small things (loose sockets, dark bathroom, loose tap, loose towel holder). But my fellow travellers had problems with bugs. After photographing the deficiencies, the hotel manager gave us a reference to the existing lawyers in Germany one day later and said that there was a reaction to every action. Also the hotel seems to change its name (Cosy Beach Club, Divya Panchakarma Ayurveda, Aquaris Beach Hotel) quite ofen. Only the tasty food and the friendly restaurant staff can be mentioned positively. All in all I felt that I had been ripped off and can definitely not recommend this place.

We stayed there for two weeks. The rooms were way overpriced! One room had a rat, another had cockroaches. A third one had mice. My adapter melted in the socket right next to my head!! There were no pool lounges at first, no sun umbrellas at all times, everything was damaged. This hotel is nothing compared to the pictures on its homepage. They pretend to be a "sports club". The sports hall they have is broken, the hole in the wall became larger during the time we were there and nobody seemded to care. It was raining inside, the carped floor looked equivalently. The one table tennis table was broken and did not have a net. The badminton nets were ripped apart and there was no light inside. The pool became green on day 7 and nobody cared to change the water until we left. Also, the tens of crows that lived there loved to bath in the same pool. The beachvolleyball field was dirty, lots of plastic and large stones were in the sand. Only after asking, somebody did clean it a bit. Still, we had to do it ourselves a second time. The owner and receptionists lied to us about a lot of things and they apparently didn't know what "professional" and "goodwill" means. There were straying cats and dogs sitting under and even ON the tables in the restaurant. Only the cleaning and kitchen staff were really nice. This hotel has changed its name a few times in the last couple of years. Amongst them are "Sport Hotel International", "Aquarius Resort" and "Divya Beach Ayurveda".

Stayed there last February 2014, the hotel is in a quiet spot. Looks a bit dated and not luxury-polished but clean. It's a place for you if you not seek a show-off, but look for the quiet, warm, clean, extremely friendly hotel. Room were tidied up daily, the stuff and managers are helpful and friendly but not annoying. The main thing is OCEAN- it's really warm. Unlike Egypt, water is warm all the time, and there are no cold drafts or wind there. Hotel is not crowded and you rarely see other tourists there, so it feels like a perfect getaway. And a big warm pool where you can swim in the night as well which is amazing. Also there is a pool for kids, and outside showers with a clean water as well. Beach is clean and with soft sand, and flowers are everywhere. I'm going there this winter again.
