The hotel is bit run down and the room we stayed has some strong smell. The place is nice to stay and explore, the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. They help us to arrange book a full day taxi (USD80) to nearby Phoenix Ski Resort Food wise, can be better....

Our summer visit to Elf was an absolute delight with grandchildren aged 5 and 3. We explored the nearby attractions including Olympics construction. The six of us stayed in a 2 bedroom unit full of nice toys, including a collapsible toddler play tent the 3 year old claimed as his room. We put a folded up "yo" in the bottom... More

The Village look like an Europe village. From outside, you can see very western style but it is located in Korea. It have a little farm and some children facilities. Although they seems a bit old but my children (six years old) are enjoy it. They allow to play firework with limited choose. My children are very happy since they... More

We experienced a heavy snowfall whilst we were staying at Elf Pension, it certainly made a difference to the surrounds and definitely improved upon the overall feel to the place. No doubt, this place is perfect for a 4 year old! Our son loved the all season tube ride and feeding the small animals. The surrounding woods are beautiful to... More

My husband and I went to Elf Pension with a couple of friends. We had a great time getting outside the city and experiencing some winter splendor. Everything is foreigner friendly - most things are written in English and the staff is very welcoming. We had a blast hiking through the snowy hills and watching an awesome fireworks show in... I have been planning my Korea winter trip for over 10 months and one of the thing that we want to do is the ice fishing at Pyeongchang Trout festival. We also want to stay near Phoenix Ski park so we can do some skiing activities. Having done various researches on Pyeongchang, hotel cost is definitely the major expenses. I... More

The staff here were impeccable. They also speak great English. Couldn't have been happier with their customer service. The pictures to the hotel are magical but when we got there it was very run down. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear every footstep from your neighbors. The zoo is not clean and the kid play area is... More

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 children on 22 December 2015. We took the subway to Dong Seoul bus terminal and took an express bus and then took a cab to Elf Pension. When we reached there, it was dark but simply magical! My kids were so happy and play with the snow that snowed the... More

Great Pension for families with small kids. Firework show, magic show, kids cafe with trampoline and birdseed sandbox etc, snow sledding hill, playground, and everything lights up at night. We had the smallest room and fit family of 4 just fine. Kids are 2 and 6 they slept on thick Japanese style futon on floor. Room had a princess theme... More

Stayed here for 2 nights during December. Mystical design, nice little rooms. Staffs were extremely helpful, getting me picked up from Phoenix park on check in day and getting taxi on other occasions. Expect to have simple meals or go out to eat.
