We stayed in one of the cabanas near the main lobby area and close to the water. The cabana was large, with h a nice bedroom on the upper level. The room was pretty large. The shower was powerful and you didn't get cold even though there were no shower curtains. There wasn't a very convenient place to put suitcases...

I cam here at the end of a 3 week tour around Myanmar... the perfect end to a hectic trip! The setting is perfect...a beautiful beach. The rooms are really nice, well ours was (room 420) although some others complained about dark and small rooms. Our was spacious and clean. The only downside was the TV was pretty old and...

my wife and i have stayed in Amata on 2 previous occasions and have loved it. Nothing has changed. The same amazing beach with warm, clear water. The same warm and welcoming staff to help with absolutely any request. The same warm welcome every time you make eye contact with the staff. The place has beach charm with its teak...

We came here for the first time to have the Christmas buffet. For the most part the food was good, but at $100 a head I was surprised to see processed slices of burger cheese on the cheese board alongside some other horrible looking sweaty slices of generic 'cheese'. We came a second time for a normal dinner and were...

Dear Chris W, Thank you for visiting amata resort & spa ngapali beach. Please accept our sincerest apologies of your inconvenience experience. Nevertheless, allow me to explain the issues on your comment. During your Christmas-eve dinner, our restaurant manager served you a plate of special cheese upon your request. Also, we provided you martini cocktails upon your request but basically...

This resort is directly by the beach, with direct access to the nicest part of the beach. There are various restaurants outside of the hotel where you van have good seafood at a fair price. The room we had was large and well maintained. It was quiet too. Breakfast buffet has a large choice - only the coffee is not...

Upper scale resort located close to the fishing village. Features both hotel rooms and villas ("cabanas"). If you can afford it, go for a cabana in the tropical garden. Good restaurant but slow service...Tips: 1) you can buy water and liquor across the street at Ma Ma, 2) rent a bike at Two Brothers to explore the nearby villages, pagodas,...

A lovely hotel on the beach. Located on the most beautiful beach. The resort itself is really lovely. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was great. We were disappointed in our room. It was very dark and the bathroom was very dated. Our veranda had no view so you couldn't relax on it as you looked onto the back...

This hotel is worth a visit, it is well situated on the beach front, close to great local eateries, understated service. The rooms are large and comfortably put together, each with a little veranda. Lovely

I stumbled upon the Spa here at Amata Resort and Spa when out cycling.. The Spa here is called Nibanna Spa and I was super impressed with the two treatments that I had as well as the professionalism and skill of the two ladies whom treated me. I am a physiotherapist by background and tend to be on the critical...
