We spent 1night there instead of 3 initially intended. The bed was ok, quite comfortable and the place was quiet compared to other guesthouses we've done in Laos. I slept quite well. However... The room was creepy and shabby : part of the wall was missing because of mould, bare electric cables right next to the shower, broken mosquito net... More

Room was barely spacious enough for the amount of people we had in the room. Bathroom is very cramped. However the place is very cheap so if you're only here for a couple of nights it's no big deal. Staff are friendly enough. Wifi is terrible - but like that everywhere in laos isn't it!

Definitely not the best place but I wouldn't call it terrible. It's one of those, you get what you pay for type of places but it still may be a little expensive. The walls desperately needed a washing, it smelt of mildew in the room and the overall cleanliness wasn't the greatest. The people here are very friendly though and... More

the guesthouse is very basic. bed with fan and decent bathroom. the bathroom wasnt the cleanest nor most pristine but it was okay... the pipes of the sink led to the drain of the shower which was kinda weird and a little gross.. the staff was nice and polite. the eatery downstairs was good. the kebabs were really delicious. tip:... This guesthouse is basic and affordable, completely okay if you don't mind a family of lizards running up and down the walls of the room all evening. At a glance the room is fine however there was a large gap under the door to the room and cracks in the walls allowing anything to get in. The location of this... More

Had to leave early because of cracks in the wall with geckos entering the room. I'm not scared of them but I didn't fancy them running over my face at night, every time I left the room there was another one there. Under the bed was full of cobwebs as well. Be warned you will not notice the geckos until... More

It can be pretty hard to find a cheap guesthouse in Vang Vieng. We paid 60 000 kips/night and everything was okay. We even stayed 2 additional nights. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They speak French and English. Because of the bar next door it's noisy until the curfew at 11pm. Not really a problem. Hot water. WiFi... More

Due to the 24 hour noise of the water tanks outside of the room, it was close to impossible to get a proper sleep in here. Otherwise, the location is good, the staff were friendly with us. The kebabs that they bbq out the front are really good too. Wifi was pretty bad but we found that to be the... More

For value for money we could not fault this place, we had a very small room but for the price we couldn't fault it. We loved waking early to watch the hot air balloons take off, they are very close to the spot they leave from. Only the son speaks English but he is eager to learn new words so... More

The start of the stay began with no hot water, had to go down to the lobby to the shower. Then the real problem occurred, the day our friend, staying in different room, stated that he went back to get his go pro and there was a man in his room trying to "turn off the fan's" for them...first red...
