The overall rating is just OK not more than that, considering the limitation of decent hotels in the nearby area I give this (3 Star) rating it could be less if there is real competition in the city of Gabes, the hotel building is nice, rooms really big although the building is a bit old, the real issue is the...

I was very disappointed by the hotel especially for the price. It seems that I was not given a non-smoking room as requested and the room was very smelly as a result. The bathroom was also past its prime and not particularly clean (it seemed they had just painted the walls and ceiling as paint chips where everywhere!). I also...

Good location and has the potential to be a great hotel, it just needs some TLC. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, plus there was Wifi, which was good. It felt a bit like I had returned to the 1960's, but it was clean and well looked after.

Need to fight with receptionist "sami" for a decent room. No hot water. Sun heated water if you are lucky. Aircon working tv working room carpet smelling bad. Restaurant self service medium quality. Spent 1 week one day I left room with a double bed return in the afternoon found 2 beds.:)

We have stayed a couple of nights in Oasis - Gabes for a Meeting. The location is quite good. Staff friendly and helpful , however the premises need renovation. Clean rooms and common areas. Good local food in the hotel's restaurant for a 3 star.

We stopped at that hotel for lunch on a 5-day trip in Tunisia. We ate a buffet-style lunch, with hot and cold items. The food was good, with typical dishes from the region. The employees were nice, as the service. It was a welcoming stop.
