We visited Tamassa in March and had the most incredible holiday. We had wanted to return to the Maldives after our honeymoon in 2021 but had been recommended Mauritius as a similar experience without the price tag! We booked with Tui and got an incredible deal for 10 nights all inclusive for a family of 3. We chose Tamassa as it looked really family friendly and can confirm that was the case when we got there. The hotel is spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful. There are three pools, we never struggled to get a sun bed at any time. The beach is incredible, we spent many hours marveling at all the tropical fish although be warned the current is quite strong and water shoes come in handy! The staff were all really friendly and my 5 year old daughter loved the activities at the kids club. We gave her the option as to what she wanted to do each morning and she’d always choose to spend a couple of hours there. They did t-shirt painting, rock fishing and a boat trip to name a few activities and the staff were always amazing with her. I was 5 months pregnant when we visited and had an incredible massage in the spa - definitely worth a visit! The hotel had a great selection of non alcoholic cocktails available which was great for me as well. Food on the whole was very good. The buffet restaurant got busy at times but there was rarely a long wait for a table. The burger truck was great at lunch times and we also enjoyed some really nice meals at the a la carte restaurant on the beach. Not having to book at lunchtimes was a real bonus and we visited 4 times in the evening too. We did have some rainy days which is to be expected in cyclone season but usually these were short heavy showers. We did have one day of ‘biblical’ rain but didn’t mind that too much when the weather had been pretty much perfect otherwise. Definitely advise bringing mosquito spray and plug-ins. We all got covered in bites after being a bit too liberal with keeping the door closed! Another highlight for us was swimming with wild dolphins. We booked through a vendor on the beach who hands out cards during the day time. Make sure you haggle on the price though. One day it would be 70 euros and the next it would be 50. He didn’t charge for my daughter either which was good and we had practically a private tour with two guides. The weather wasn’t great but it meant it was quieter when we actually saw the dolphins. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience - so glad we did it! I think the only constructives would be not having to sign for every single drink we consumed. I think all inclusive wristbands might be a better system. Would definitely return! Hopefully in the not too distant future.…

We went to Tamassa resort for the day and I couldn’t fault the service we received. From the warm welcome at the front desk, to the great service form restaurant and bar staff, our experience was second to none. All the facilities and grounds were clean and up to standard. We had the choice of 3 child friendly swimming pools which was a bonus with a 3year old! The changing rooms had showers and very spacious, ideal for those who don’t have day room use. The food at the buffet was scrumptious and there was a variety to choose from. The all inclusive package is such a good deal and great for the whole family. Tables were cleared promptly to make space for more food😅 special thanks to Chef Jean Edinho. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully with overnight stay! Went to the hotel with Friends to have a great time which indeed we had. The staffs were all very attentive and catered to absolutely all our needs. The location was great_ a great escape from our everyday hectic life, very calm and quiet place. The food was amazing. Special thanks to chef Edinho and team and chef Sandiren.

Had the most amazing two weeks at this hotel. All I can say is the staff are excellent so warm and friendly absolutely nothing they aren't able to do for you to make your stay so so good. A massive thank you to our waiter Altaaf who worked in the restaurant and made us feel so very special from day 1. Thank you Altaaf Also Ali from the beach bar who looked after us so well by carrying our sun beds to the beach and once settled making sure we had drinks and waiter service whilst there. I went there to celebrate my dad's birthday. We took a day package. We had a wonderful time, nice ambience. The staff are caring , friendly and helpful a special thanks to all those who were there on 23.05.23 for the day shift. A special thanks to chef Edhingo i guess if am not mistaken the pastry chef. He was very caring and giv his assistance throughout our lunch at the buffet and for the birthday cake. I really love the touch of the staff there and the food was yummy😉 I recommend it for holiday n i will be back for a stay very soon Keep up the good job ahead . I have being to Tamassa resort Saturday 20 May 2023 day use only and i can say it was one of the best hotel we have in Mauritius.All the staffs were really kind to us.Many activities such as aqua gym, foam party and so on were available that day.The food were really delicious and i will like to thanks Chef Edinho, Chef Sandiren and the teams for everything❤️ I strongly recommend Tamassa Resort to anyone.

I stayed at Tamassa with my mum for a week this month in May on Half Board and from the moment we arrived we experienced exceedingly good service from the staff. We were greeted with a smile and everyone was so helpful. We wanted to try some Mauritian desserts which we couldn't find in the shops and bazaars in Mauritius, so we asked the chefs in the kitchen if they could please make them for us. I want to give a big shout out to Chef Jean Noel made us the most amazing dessert which was 10 out of 10! Chef Jean Marc sourced something for us which was delicious and Chef Edinho was really helpful to us. On another occasion I had an issue in my room where a little lizard had crawled into one of my t-shirts and i was freaking out! It was midnight and a kind member of the night staff came immediately to remove the lizard - he was so professional and helpful. The food in the restaurant was brilliant, all the staff were so helpful and there wasn't anything they wouldn't do to try and help, and to make our stay at Tamassa the very best. The swimming pools were great with 3 to choose from, the entertainment each night was great, especially the sunset party on a Tuesday where Tamassa had a DJ, drinks and snacks on the beach during the sunset, and of course the Mauritian night on a Thursday with the signing and dancing. I will definitly be coming back here again and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Mauritius. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special. …
