We wanted the ultimate family holiday experience and Sosian delivered on every front. Simon and Rosie, and the rest of their team who are all lovely, looked after our every whim and the four days we spent there was jam packed with things to do. Amazing game drives with our guide Mishek and Patrick featuring leopards, elephants, zebra, giraffe, hippos... More

We went to Sosian again and as usual had the most wonderful time. The usual activities of game drives, horse riding, bush breakfasts lunches etc. No jumping off the waterfall this time as no time to fit it in. As usual all the staff just terrific, Nico's cooking superb, David M, Simon & Rosie ran everything like clockwork. The guides,... More

I contacted Sosian about a year ago, looking at running a yoga and riding retreat there in Feb / March 2016. After a lot of emailing back and forth (very prompt, friendly and helpful conversations) a group of us arrived at the end of Feb 2016 for one week. I have traveled widely teaching on clinics, and I have to... More

Our holiday at Sosian lodge was the most majestic experience, typified by the fantastic staff, wonderful food and the unique wildlife in this unspoilt area of Northern Kenya. Simon, Rosie and Daisy were the most gracious hosts and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived at the lodge, with fresh tea and home made cookies. We came... More

What a wonderful review! Thank you so much for taking the time to write - we really appreciate it. It was wonderful to have you both to stay amongst all the yogis and equestrians and we're so pleased you found your own niche with a fishing rod in one hand and a Tusker in the other. We would absolutely love... More

These guys really know what they're doing. The staff are welcoming, knowledgable and look after your every need. Added to this the Lodge is incredibly smart, the private chalets deliriously comfortable, and the food exceptional (especially when eaten outside on a 'Bush' breakfast or supper). You can gallop beautiful horses amongst herds of Zebras - seriously, I did! - leap... More

“What do you think they’re doing at Sosian today?” is the cry that frequently goes up in our car as we battle through the traffic and rain on another school run. Maybe they’re jumping off the waterfall, horse riding through the bush or tracking the wild dogs and their pups. Whatever they’re doing we know that they’re having a great... More

Thank you so much for such a lovely review! We can tell you that today, there have been game drives, fishing (5 caught on the line!) and camel rides. Horses were schooled in the arena and one is off to a competition tomorrow. Birthday the pony is fat and happy, and eagerly awaiting the next time Lara comes to ride... More

Sosian Lodge is a well established and EXTREMELY WELL RUN Safari Lodge in Laikipia. The staff are most welcoming on arrival and knowledgable on safari, with the chef producing some superb food. This ensured that we saw a huge range of wildlife of birds to big cats both by horse and car and were hosted like kings for the parts... More

You will experience superb hospitality and an intense exposure to a very wild, untouched part of Kenya here. I recommend Sosian to both residents and visitors looking for a unique experience off the beaten path. Quiet, removed and well kept, the lodge is located on a large conservancy about 4 hours north of Nairobi in Laikipia County. If you are... More
