We are a family of four with two kids aged 13 and 10. We visited Porini Rhino, Porini Amboseli and Porini Lion in mid August. This camp is north of the equator, at the foothills of Mt. Kenya. The mountain in the background makes this camp very scenic. There are only 7 tents, so the camp atmosphere is very intimate.... More

Thanks to David and our wonderful guides as well as the rest of the crew. This was a fantastically welcoming camp with lots of special features eg hot water bottles in the bed and morning cup of tea delivered to the tent. The wild life was spectacular and every day we saw something special. The food and drinks were very... More

The Rhino Camp was our absolute favorite part of our 3 week trip to Kenya! We visited the Lion Camp as well, which was wonderful but this one won our hearts. It is a small camp of 6 tents located on a watering hole which is viewable from all tents. Giraffes, buffalo, impala, zebras, warthogs, you name it you will... More

We absolutely loved our stay here!! We were welcomed to the camp by David, the manager, who was so hospitable and personable and nothing was a problem. The tents are lovely, clean and modern - the bucket shower, very efficient and creates 'authenticity' to our glamping!! We saw so much wildlife - lions, rhinos, cheetahs, elephants, hippos... The meals were... More

Thank you David, Nicholas, Lenny and all other Porini Rhino camp staff for making this a memorable part of our Kenyan safari. Up close and personal with rhino, lions, giraffe and elephant. Sundowners on the plains with grazing animals and a camp fire drink while watching giraffe at the waterhole. Very comfortable permanent tents with a cosy double bed and... More

Had the pleasure of spending my first few days of my honeymoon at Porini Rhino Camp. David was so accommodating and Nicolas & Lenny who drove us about for 3 days were both knowledgable and passionate. Food was amazing, accommodation was great and all in all had a lovely time. Next few days we spent at Porini Lion Camp.

This camp is the best!!! The food is suburb, the drives eventful, service *5 and the tents are well equipped and fairly new. You are really out in the bush with the wild animals around camp....a watering hole just a few feet away. I felt very safe and in good hands with the Masai and staff. This was my favorite... More

On the 6th June, 2016 we arrived at Porini Rhino camp and our eyes widened, what a fabulous camp and setting. The attention to detail was amazing and as I told my friend, I now know what a princess feels like, our wish was their command. The staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We met some... More

My daughter and I took a 3-day/2-night flying package to Porini Rhino Camp. "Porini" means "into the wild" in Kiswahili, and that is exactly the experience we came for and left with. We found the Ol Pejeta Conservancy to be the perfect place to see how tourism and cattle ranching share such a beautiful and sustainable environment. We had come... More

Set in a quiet part of a massive conservancy with excellent facilities, charming and helpful staff, wonderful game drives where we very quickly saw Lions, Cheetahs and Rhinos, this was an incredible experience, the best safari experience ever at the Porini Camps.
