We walked in for breakfast - quite sumptuous - cereals with milk, choice of fruits, fresh juice, yoghurt and quite a good selection from the hot kitchen - bacon, eggs of choice, sausage, tomato with toast - the bread was fresh and crunchy and the pièce de resistance was their home made jam. The ambience is great with a well loved homely feel. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating... we got some nice masala tea despite the fact that it is not on their menu. Would definitely love to go back for a meal and with more time to enjoy the ambience.
Spent 2 nights with friends. All worked out well through the whole visit. Large comfortable room with a private terrace. Comfortable bed. Very nice common lounge with a large fire place, bar and terrace. Food was great with a good menu. Best of all were the very friendly and accommodating staff.
A kilometer from the main road on a an open space with super views. The restaurant faces Mt.Kenya and you can see far and wide. The houses are large and with quality finishing and the bed is just waoo...A recommandable place due to proximity and calmness.Friendly staff and good meals.
Everything about this place was amazing. For me, after spending 2 weeks in Kenya, I can safely say that it was here I had the best dinner and breakfast. Oh even the thought makes me salivate. All while looking at the beautiful Mt Kenya! We were 3 adults and 2 kids (3 and 5) so kids had plenty of space to run around after being on a self drive safari to 4 different parks! Truly breath of fresh air. The check in staff, bar staff, restaurant and cleaning staff were all top notch! Location is also brilliant! Highly recommend! 5 stars!!! PS: there's a lovely fire place on the inside with beautiful artwork plastered around the walls of the hotel.
Very well located. Attractive bedrooms. Sunday night is not ideal as it was on skeleton staff and staff looked tired. Food was good. Beautiful view of Mount Kenya. Wake up early to get your best view. Good reception/lounge area.
