Without doubt the most unique lodge I have ever stayed at. Amazing people, great wildlife and spectacular views. Il Ngwesi creates a fascinating combination of isolation, comfort and connection to the land that is hard to find anywhere else. It's the the only lodge in the area that is owned and managed by the local communitiy and they do great!...

This was my first stop on a 3-week trip to Kenya and Tanzania, and I am so glad I chose to stay here, because it was the PEOPLE, in addition to the architecture and wildlife sightings, that made it a beautiful experience. Traveling solo at my age could have been daunting, but the welcoming attitudes of all the staff and...

Hidden in the middle of nowhere - virtually impossible to see the lodge from anywhere. A conservancy where you won't see another vehicle. Really interesting game viewing - you have to work a bit harder for your "spots" than in some places but there is plenty - for example on one 2 hour night drive; Wild Dog, Spotted Hyena, Striped...

Of all the safari lodges we have stayed in Kenya and Africa, this was the best experience we have ever had. Waking up to the view of the valley below and rolling hills way yonder was breathtaking. Wild animals wondered about in the valley as we watched in the comfort of our rooms or by the pool. The guide made...

Interesting and fascinating at the same time. It took me out of my comfort zone and it was terrific. Bungalows built into the mountain side open air to the Savanna. Views of watering holes for the animals. A lovely lodge for gathering. A warm and wonderful pool. Staff that was attentive and kind. The guides shared their village and culture...

This lodge offers the most incredible experience with open-air rooms over looking the hillside and watering hole. You stay in luxury but in a very eco friendly environment. The lodge is run by the Maasai community who value your support and stay in their beautiful facility. The food and service are great. The bush breakfast along the river, the visit...

This untouched paradise is a place where you would want some quiet time to bond with nature. If you are an eco tourist then this is the place to be. The architecture is superb.Get a mini boardwalk to your room or soak in the cool waters of the pool as you watch elephants drink water at theater hole. Have an...
