This was our third trip to Kenya having previously stayed in the Mara, Tsavo and Amboseli parks. We stayed in the beautiful Sweetwaters tented camp and at Ol Pejeta house. The camp is fabulous with everything you could want and very comfortable. The food is fantastic and the staff go out of their way to make you at home. After... More

Sweet waters Serena camp is a very comfortable luxury tented camp with good service. Food is great. The front row tents offer a very good view of the water hole and one can see wildlife up close as they come for a drink. The Morani wing offers even better views and better comfort!

Great place early in a safari. Stayed in glam tent, really comfortable. View of plain and Mt Kenya. Stunning morning view. Game drives easy and full of animal views. Good to have early in safari as it isn't too large. Wouldn't do after one of the larger parks though, unless you just want some R and R. Food is good.... More

I have lived in Kenya for several years and when I have a 3-day weekend this is one of my go-to places. However I haven't been in 3 years and this year was the absolute best. Service - amazing (Jimmy and Ana in the dining hall were excellent). Tents in the Morani Wing - impressive - views - outstanding. We... More

Traveled in July with family of 8(3kids) .what can I say sweetwaters is a short drive from Nairobi. We arrived just in time for a buffet lunch which was just lovely. We were shown our rooms(tents) and it was simply amazing clean tidy and very comfortable over looking the watering hole and the scenic mount Kenya beautiful and breath taking... More

I stayed herre with my family for three night in august. We all enjoyed it very much. One of the great things is the waterhole next to the lodge. The food where great and the staff where very helpful. Thankyou for a wonderful visit.

This place is just absolutely perfect in every way. We stayed here on our first night, we had a Morani tent which was pure luxury, and not like a tent at all, it overlooked the plains, with elephants, rino, warthogs, buffalo, has our own safari from our chairs on the terrace. Food was cooked and served to perfection. All staff... More

Mostly pros and little to say otherwise about Sweetwaters. The "tents" are clean, comfortable and well furnished. Basically, a hotel room with tented walls. The grounds are gorgeous and the service is wonderful. Food is good (though, as with all of these places, suffers a bit from the self-service/buffet style nature of it all). Would definitely go back.

Repeat visit 18 years later, brought the kids this time. Wildlife viewing was great- saw a leopard up close! Rhino preserve and chimp rescues are well done. The tents are very comfortable and food very good. Enjoyed walking through the lush grounds, saw a sunbird!

My partner and I stayed 3 nights in the tents and loved it! Whilst having wonderful bathroom facilities necessary inside the tent, it still felt as though we were outdoors with the African wildlife! In the morning we could hear a wide variety of African birds which only added to the lovely experience! All staff were incredibly welcoming, particularly at... More
