This was our fourth hotel on this trip doing multiple safaris. As we drove up to the entrance, you could feel it was going to be special. The registration and checking in was easy and efficient. Walking to the room, you could feel the classic elegance of the resort. The whole property exudes the classic timeless feel. There are lots things to do from golf to visiting the animal orphanage. I can’t say enough good things, it was an absolute gem of a hotel.

Amazing in every way. Stayed here two nights and wished it were 20. The staff here really makes the experience extraordinary. From breakfast waitstaff like Elizabeth to the bartenders to the groundskeepers, everyone made us feel like family. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff even created a fire for us in the room fireplace every evening. The food—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was the best we had in two weeks in east Africa. The environment is spectacular. The hotel sits beneath Mt Kenya and the setting and grounds are straight out of the movies. Definitely go to the adjoining animal orphanage. Book it!
