Best Luxury Resort in the World 2019 Kenya's Leading Safari Lodge 2019 Condé Nast GOLD List 2018 Africa's Leading Luxury Lodge 2017 GOLD Eco-Rating 2017, 2018, 2019 As a small and intimate family-owned safari lodge, Sirikoi offers unrivalled exclusivity and charm. The four luxury tents, Sirikoi Cottage and private Sirikoi House are perfectly positioned along the spring-fed Sirikoi stream, immersed in nature with wildlife all around. Sirikoi resembles an eco-chic African home and while it offers a sure sense of luxury and high level of service, it manages to be welcoming, comfortable and unpretentious. All the rooms are spacious and tastefully designed, with unique décor touches, a sitting area, big Victorian bathtubs, rain-showers, fireplaces and a private deck. Surrounded by 68,000 acres of pure wilderness of the renowned World Heritage Site, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, the location of the lodge is truly exceptional. With Kenya’s arid North to one side, and the lush foothills of Mount Kenya on the other, Sirikoi enjoys a beautiful spring-like climate year round. Days are as action-packed or as rejuvenating as desired, and Sirikoi offers a range of unique and adventurous activities for all ages to experience and explore the wilderness and wildlife. The wildlife on Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is abundant and includes many endangered species such as black and white rhino, and the largest resident population of Grevy’s zebra in the world. Families of elephant have carved Sirikoi into their migratory routes and almost daily they can be seen just in front of the Sirikoi dining deck for hours at a time.

This is a place on the planet like no other. The lodge itself is excellent; amazing staff and guides, great (and healthy) food, a water feature close by where elephants (and other animals) congregate while the guests eat a unbelievable breakfast. Visiting the vegetable garden is a treat onto itself. Each suite is appointed to the nines. Couldn't ask for a better place to relax, view animals (lion, leopard and grey-crowned cranes to name a few). The conservancy has reticulated giraffe and grevy zebras and if you haven't seen these types you're in for a treat. This time was my third visit.

Alistair and the staff and the Sirikoi Villa made our stay in Kenya an unforgettable experience. Dan, Thomas and Ottie, with the assistance of Eric, prepared and served meals on the deck, in the dining room and on the verandah. In the wee hours of the morning we were met with a general tap on the door with coffee and biscuits, to prepare for our dawn rising game ride with Nguila❤️❤️❤️❤️. He was a joy to be with daily. So knowledgeable and so happy to show us all the Lewa had to offer. George, the gardener took us on a fascinating tour of the organic garden and other behind the scene gems. Their commitment and dedication to conservation and reducing the carbon foot print is evident in everything they do. I cannot day enough about all the people we met at Sirikoi, Caroline, Jennifer, Anna, Nathan. They all made us feel like family and treasured guests. We could not have asked for a better introduction to the warmth and love of Kenya.

I went here for the weekend with my husband as part of our honeymoon, and we stayed in a luxury tent. Everything was perfect: the tent was comfy and spacious (even the bathroom was beautiful!), the food was delicious, location was lovely, and the staff and owner were attentive and considerate. They were really dedicated to ensuring that we had a great stay. Also the game drives were amazing in Lewa conservancy. I recommend doing a long morning drive with a packed breakfast so that you can travel out farther from the lodge. We saw so many rhinos, which are quite rare in most of the national parks.
