This is a place on the planet like no other. The lodge itself is excellent; amazing staff and guides, great (and healthy) food, a water feature close by where elephants (and other animals) congregate while the guests eat a unbelievable breakfast. Visiting the vegetable garden is a treat onto itself. Each suite is appointed to the nines. Couldn't ask for a better place to relax, view animals (lion, leopard and grey-crowned cranes to name a few). The conservancy has reticulated giraffe and grevy zebras and if you haven't seen these types you're in for a treat. This time was my third visit.
Stay here if you want: 1. you want to be pampered. 2. to enjoy great food, organic and grown on site. 3. want a civilized safari. 4. to fulfill a bucket list of seeing rhinos up close and personal. 5. to fulfill a bucket list of seeing grevy's zebras up close 6. you enjoy hanging with elephants. 7. enjoy watching wildlife while you eat lunch 8. you want to be pampered.... did I mention that?? This is a very civilized safari camp with all the comfort and pleasure Caroline, the manager, and staff can bestow. Be sure to get a tour of the organic garden that George manages for much of the food offered during your stay.
Lewa is amazing. Sirikoi is one of the very best in the area. Lovely food, great service and a wonderful guide (Ones). The luxury tents are opulent and superbly furnished and the staff work hard to ensure you have a wonderful time.
Alistair and the staff and the Sirikoi Villa made our stay in Kenya an unforgettable experience. Dan, Thomas and Ottie, with the assistance of Eric, prepared and served meals on the deck, in the dining room and on the verandah. In the wee hours of the morning we were met with a general tap on the door with coffee and biscuits, to prepare for our dawn rising game ride with Nguila❤️❤️❤️❤️. He was a joy to be with daily. So knowledgeable and so happy to show us all the Lewa had to offer. George, the gardener took us on a fascinating tour of the organic garden and other behind the scene gems. Their commitment and dedication to conservation and reducing the carbon foot print is evident in everything they do. I cannot day enough about all the people we met at Sirikoi, Caroline, Jennifer, Anna, Nathan. They all made us feel like family and treasured guests. We could not have asked for a better introduction to the warmth and love of Kenya. …
I went here for the weekend with my husband as part of our honeymoon, and we stayed in a luxury tent. Everything was perfect: the tent was comfy and spacious (even the bathroom was beautiful!), the food was delicious, location was lovely, and the staff and owner were attentive and considerate. They were really dedicated to ensuring that we had a great stay. Also the game drives were amazing in Lewa conservancy. I recommend doing a long morning drive with a packed breakfast so that you can travel out farther from the lodge. We saw so many rhinos, which are quite rare in most of the national parks.
