Went to Kenya for a number of safaris. First stop Sirikoi about a 1 hour plane ride from Nairobi. It is on a conservatory that has worked hard to save both the black and white rhinos. The lodge is outstanding- great room, great showers, you can drink the water that flows down from Mt. Kenya. The owners, Willie and Sue,... More

Great to hear you had such an incredible experience. It is easy to forget how spoiled we are for having so many Rhino's around, the conservancy is doing an amazing job keeping them protected. We are delighted you enjoyed your bush walk and time with the rangers, albeit with a few close encounters! Being taken out on a helicopter trip... More

We spent three nights at Sirokoi for our honeymoon, and had a spectacular stay. We highly recommend Sirokoi for anyone traveling to Kenya. The grounds and property are stunning. The camp is small and intimate, and no detail is left to chance. The main lodge (where we didn't spend much time, since the lure of being outside was too great)... More

Dear Bernadette, Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovey review, you're making us blush! Willie & Sue have spent a great amount of time making Sirikoi both luxurious and 'homey' and really enjoy it when it is appreciated. Sue would have loved to meet you too but she was visiting her grandchildren during their summer holiday.... More

We were able to spend three nights at Sirikoi. We met Willie briefly as he and Sue had a wedding to attend when we were there. The staff did an awesome job in their absence. Two people that stood out were Martin and Daniel. Martin was our family attendant and is one of the nicest and brightest people we met.... More

It is also great when their value is acknowledged by our guests. Martin and Daniel are delighted with your compliment and enjoyed the time they spend... More

Whatever you do... stay here if visiting Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The owners and hosts, their managers and staff, are without exception, superb! You will arrive a stranger and leave a friend and what lovely friends to have. Wildlife viewing was amazing, the guiding was exceptional, rooms are more than comfortable... if like me, you will feel torn between going on... More

Thank you so much for taking time to review us and for such a fabulous review. We are really thrilled that you enjoyed staying with us. Completely understand the dilemma about whether to go out and about on Lewa or just stay in camp. There is so much wildlife activity in camp, often the best moments happen without having to... More

A bunch (is that the correct collective noun?) of journalists spent two days and one night at Sirikoi in Lewa and came away with photos of two cheetah, of a crush of black and white rhinos, a dazzle of endangered Grevy's zebra and a tall tower of ten reticulated giraffes (yep, it's a tower) plus a confusion of Guinea fowl.... We spent a wonderful three nights at Sirikoi. We only wished that it had been much, much longer. From our arrival to our departure we were looked after superbly by Mat and Alice (the Managers) and their excellent team. Its difficult to summarize the experience of staying at this "lodge" (which is in reality not a lodge but a collection of luxury tents and "cottages"), because the experience is so overwhelming.
