The lodges along Lake Elementaita provide a great jump-off point for either Lake Naivasha or Lake Nakuru. We managed to secure two rooms at a reasonable deal at Pelican Lodge in spite of the fact that it was the Labor Day weekend, and we did a last minute booking when many of the accommodations in the area were fully booked....

Located in a quiet area, away from the noisy Nakuru town. Rooms designed to look like hostels but with large windows. Wifi is only available in the conference rooms and restaurant albeit with very weak signal. No TV in the rooms. Food was good though

I recently visited this lodge and stayed in one of the cottages. It was a pretty decent room, large and clean. The porches are wooden planks and need refresher paint. It had an open bathroom concept which I found interesting, but may be less than ideal for some. The bed was too firm for me, but I did manage to...

First, the hostel like rooms. They have a few cottages but if you're in a big group, you may end up staying in rooms that remind me of boarding school. The walls in this room are so thin I could hear everything going on in the next room. Also there are no Tvs in the rooms, not even the cottages. Some rooms have no...

Overall experience can be summed up as GOOD, Pick the cottages they have the best views as they face the lake. if available insist on cottages facing the lake (Elementaita).A great place for bird lovers/ watchers as well. A summary of food, rooms, and overall service. Rooms (cottages) 3.5/5 (Hot Showers only available on request! they will 'send' hot water...

The lodge has dipped to a pathetic level in terms of service . The waiters are aloof and disinterested. The security guards are just extremely disenfranchised and arrogant. We waited for 37 minutes to be served only to be told it's buffet ...we decided to leave then got detained at the gate on grounds that we didn't have a clearance...

The lodge is Good when there are a few people like 30-50 pax. The food was good and fresh when we were few. On 24th December when more people came until it was at full capacity, the confusion started. At dinner time the food got finished and few guests including myself had to do with boiled chicken and cabbage. Never...
