The house was nicely decorated with lots of amenities. The heating was off during our stay and we could not turn it on it was probably controlled by the landlord. The fireplace was the only source of heating. The most important thing was the ABSENCE OF LIGHTING in the farmr from the afternoon and so on!!! We came back from...

I went in February for the first time and was amazed with this small paradise in the mountains. Very nice atmosphere, warm welcome from Marianna, fantastic cottages with hot water, good food and beautiful surrounding. When I returned after a night stay and two fantastic walks, I felt like I had been away for a week. Fantastic place to "reload"!

What an amazing place. Perched atop a mountain near the village of Plomari, Toumba is a little off the beaten track but well worth the visit. The perfect place to unplug and escape it all. Marianna is just a super host and an amazing chef. Within minutes she whipped us up a fabulous lunch of grilled meats, salad, cheese pastries,...

Toumba is a magical place and has one of the finest views in the whole of the Eastern Aegean. The air is always fresh and there seems to a breeze most of the time. Please go there especially when the wild figs are ripe; they have an especial sweetness from being high up. For me it is now tinged with...

I was here for a wedding and you couldn't have a better, more magical venue. Forget staying anywhere else in Lesvos and make tracks to Toumba, you won't regret it. Peaceful, beautiful and just wonderful, the best place to stay, probably in the whole of Greece.

On the top of the mountain near Plomari on Lesvos is Toumba. A very special place. From the mountain you can see the coastline, Turky and Chios. there are horses, olive trees and a taverne. Aswell as accomodation for ca. 15 persons. www.toumba.gr But is even nice just to spent the afternoon with friends at the taverna.

We have been visiting Lesbos for many years, always staying in Plomari which we love. This year, we added a 5 night stay at Toumba high up in the mountains near Skopolos. The accommodation in stone built lodges, all well separated from each other, is simply furnished, spacious and comfortable. The views from the terraces are breath-taking, over the mountains...

We went back to Toumba following our initial visit, and stayed for a week in a couple of the lodges with some friends. This was a magical and relaxing week, and we took the opportunity to have a horse ride down to the nearest village. The accommodation was basic but comfortable, and we had the best quality sleep in the...

We called in to Toumba to get a coffee at the cafe, and found a magical place in the beautiful mountains overlooking Plomari. The owner showed is the accommodation in the six cottages and we were very impressed. We will be returning later In the year to stay for a week, and do some horse riding.

Located high above Plomari each cabin offers expansive ocean views and a certain silence found only on mountain tops. We found the roomy cabin to be clean and well stocked with all the necessities including a small kitchen, separate wash room, a large bed and sitting area with sofa and chairs. The cabins are smartly situated along the mountainside like...
