Loved every aspect of our stay! Location, we walked into the park, amazing! Pool and hot tub had a luxury feel! Even a private trail up their mountain, amazing to watch the stars at night. I didn't want to leave and can only hope to come back again some day! Thank you!

This hotel is good value for its location close to the park entrance, which is walkable (10 minutes). The standard room was modest in size but had a comfy bed and some thoughtful touches - free water bottles, filtered water in the lobby, lovely toiletries, DVDs, hand steamer (no iron) etc. Unfortunately, and a major issue, is the noise! There is seemingly zero sound proofing between rooms and we could hear every little noise and footstep from the room above (and were badly disturbed) - so really important room tip, do not get a ground floor room on multi storey part of the hotel! Try to get a single storey building or top floor room (but be considerate). Also, no breakfast served in winter, which is a shame - although other options nearby. The viewpoint is worth a look! I would stay again, as good price and location, but I would be very cautious on room choice.

I stayed at 2 different hotels during my stay at the Zion National Park and Flanigan's is very covid friendly. The front desk staff were all wearing masks and there was a sanitizer gel by the front desk. Entering the room was from the outside so you didn't have to worry about walking near anyone who didn't wear a mask. And there were many people walking around town and at the other hotel I stayed at (Best Western) that chose not to wear a mask. The view was amazing, the bed was comfortable and the location was close to the park and many restaurants and shops. The restaurant next door, Spotted Dog, and across the street, Whip Tail, are really good. If you want a covid safe hotel, I would highly recommend staying at Flanigan's. They even gave you a sanitizer gel in your room that you can use or have.

This inn is extremely convenient to VisItor center for Zion (5 minute walk). It is quiet, has a free guest laundry ( although there is only one washer/dryer we were lucky enough to not have an issue doing 2 loads). THe pros are the location and laundry as well as the on site very good restaurant. THe cons are that parking could potentially be a problem if you get there after 5 and people have driven to the restaurant you might have trouble finding a parking spot as a hotel guest since it shares the lot with the restaurant. ALso the air conditioner is not the greatest, it was set at 68 but no way was it 68 degrees in the room. At any rate we were not overly hot, just a bit stuffy given that the outside air temp was in the 90’s. Not all rooms have fridge or microwave (but that is clearly stated depending on your room type). I would think that however for the price, all rooms would have fridge and micro in such a tourist area where folks like to pack a lunch or heat up a dinner in the microwave). There is a microwave available for use in the lobby however. The wifi connection is very very slow.

Flanigan's Inn is simply amazing! The Motel is absolutely beautiful! The staff is very friendly and professional. The service is Amazingly great, and I say this because our air conditioner started to not work correctly, we called the front office and two maintenance men were to our room immediately after looking at the air conditioner for a minute they went and brought us a brand new one! The Motel also puts out the best coffee in the lobby for their guest. The coffee was so good so I asked what kind of coffee that they use and they told me that they get the coffee grounds fresh from a local coffee shop that they brew fresh every day. You will also have a Kurig machine in your room as well but I would get yourself a cup of that good coffee that's in the lobby. My wife and I stayed one night in one of the standard rooms and it was beautiful and immaculately clean. I have never seen a motel so clean before:)) Even the grout in the tile floor looks like they clean that from time to time. The other 5 nights my wife and I spent in their double King suit . This building had two rentals so we only shared one wall. We basically had our own cabin their on the property. This double king suit was big it had a living room that had a king size bed and a separate bedroom as well. One of the two love seats folds out a bed if needed as well. You definitely knew that you were in Utah when your staying in the double King Suite room 304. This place is also much like a resort. They have a swimming pool and a heated hot tub. The hot tub was supper warm the first two nights but seemed to be cooler the other nights. You can also pay extra for a Spa treatment which my wife thought about but ended not pursuing it. There is also a restaurant called the Spotted Dog that doesn't open till 5:00 P.M. That has some really good food. Flanigan's comes highly recommended and is an Amazing place to stay at.

We had high expectations going in that Flanigan’s would be the highlight accommodation of our two weeks in Utah, northern Arizona and southwest Colorado, and Flanigan’s came through big-time. Everything about the inn, the rooms and grounds were very much as their web site and other reviews suggested they would and should be. Just as importantly in our view is the help the inn can offer in advance of arrival. They will provide recommendations of many kinds to your inquires; in our case, we wondered what private Zion shuttle providers they would recommend if we were unable to get tickets for the park’s own shuttle. (We did get those tickets, but their response was very informative and could have been quite helpful.) The front desk always had two people on duty when we were there, so there no waits to have questions answered or needs met.
As for dining, we enjoyed our Spotted Dog dinner so much our first night that we came back for night two, something we do not normally do.
The inn is one of the closest accommodations to Zion park’s pedestrian entrance, less than 15 minutes at normal walking pace, but if you want to take the Springdale shuttle, the stop is directly across the street.
We experienced no negatives of any kind to any degree in our two-night stay, and I cannot recommend Flanigan’s highly enough.

Thank you for you review with Tripadvisor. We are happy to hear that you were pleased with us on this visit to Zion. Flanigan's founder strongly believed that Flanigan's was " ... more than a place for food and lodging. It is a part of the need to unwind, relax and enjoy life." Although he is no longer with us, his daughter and the staff do our best to continue his legacy. We appreciate your approval and we hope we may see you again soon.

Absolute perfect location and the bus (no 3 stop) being more or less outside was an added bonus (no need to hunt for a parking space at the park and the transfer took 5 mins). The room was spotless, comfortable and pretty surprising. Nice robes also! We particularly liked the ethos of using recyclable water bottles to encourage guests to be conservative with the environment. Cannot comment on the restaurant as closed during our stay.

We had a larger party so we needed another room and the Villa 2. This review is just on the latter. It was truly wonderful to have something so comfortable so close to Zion, where we can quickly retreat to, to rest and recharge after an early outing to the park. Having a washer/dryer was also huge. Keep in mind, due to the timing around Xmas, and despite the cold weather, you need to get into Zion early or else the scenic drive will be closed off and good luck finding parking even if it's not closed yet. We found the Villa 2 to be roomy enough to have our larger party gather in the evenings as a communal gathering area. It has a full kitchen with all the amenities so bringing dinners home for Covid concerns proved to be very convenient. The Villa 2 is across the street from the main hotel so it felt more like an AirBnb at times and the house faces a farm where deer visit on a very frequent basis.
Couple complaints/observations was the heater/furnace was loud so whenever it came on at night, it was a bit disruptive. Luckily we're usually exhausted by all the hiking during the day. And lastly, the house has higher ceiling with floor to ceiling windows in the living room area, which affords great views but there are no curtains/blinds, which seemed strange to us, especially at night.

Wow, I'm not sure what I expected, but this is a NICE hotel. Awesome bedding, pool, and location. Such a great place to make your home base after a hard day of hiking. There's a free Springdale line shuttle that picks up in front of the hotel, which connects to the free park shuttles inside the park.
One big tip: get a room with a fridge and pack a bunch of food in for your stay. There aren't a lot of inexpensive food options in Springdale, so hitting a supermarket before arriving could defray some costs. Bring some cans of beer to the pool, too. It really is a lovely, relaxing place.

Thanks for 3 relaxing nights, lovely room, thick robes, soaking tub even in January when Zion Park and Springdale community services are quite limited. Appreciated the stainless steel water bottles, Keurig, and kitchen wash up supplies. Thanks for the microwave available in your lobby. We were campers and backpackers years ago, now our knees and backs appreciate a good sleep and comfortable surroundings.
The view from the labyrinth is great! Thanks for upgrading our room.

Thanks for your question. The hot tub is open year-round, but the pool is usually closed early November thru late March. We hope you may come enjoy the hot tub and the Park during the 'quiet season'.
Sorry I'm late, like a year. Do not remember, but it wasn't worth whatever they charged.
We stayed on the first floor and they are divided but could not be considered private.
Hello, thanks for asking. My husband and I enjoyed staying at Flanigan's Inn .( May be a bit pricy ) There is an average size commercial swimming pool with hot tub. No Gym on the premises. It's a tiny town with limited resources. Personally, Zion National Park has so many amazing hiking trails, and that will be a good work out for you. Flanagan does offer great massages which can be so rejuvenating after a day hike. Hope this helps. Enjoy the Park.
Yes, our spa is open. We offer massages, manicures and pedicures, and scrubs. Our therapists are practiced in many different modalities, and can customize treatments to suit the situation. We also offer yoga sessions and energy healing. We have a four hour cancellation deadline, if an appointment is cancelled past that, 100% of the treatment is charged. You can call the front desk to schedule a treatment, and we will be happy to discuss the different options.
