The genuine carrying attitude toward helping their guest have a wonderful memorial experience while staying at desert Pearl Inn is amazing. Carrie is in charge of making sure your visit is delightful;as it was when my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed...More
The Desert Pearl is one of my favorite hotels ever. The rooms are immaculate and nearly twice as big as a normal hotel room. We had two queens and a pull out sofa bed with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen area is a...More
Two families of four planned to stay just one night as we visited to hike and explore. Within an hour we'd shifted our next hotel and extended our stay at the Desert Pearl Inn another night. Great location, incredible views of the mountains from the...More
This was my second time to the Desert Pearl Inn (first time was 13 years ago). Second time was just as impressive. We were lucky enough to have the river view one bedroom suite with two bathrooms. The room was huge, clean, everything we needed....More
This was hands down the best place we stayed on a recent road trip through southern Utah -- and it is hard to please all four members of our family! Lovely setting by the river. Definitely worth it to get a river side room. Beautiful...More

We took a shuttle from the airport to the car rental area just south of the airport and it was only a few turns out of there till we were right on Interstate 15. The drive is easy to navigate but did take longer than we had planned and we did drive it at night. There is a time change of an hour from Vegas to Springdale and we stopped in St. George for groceries along the way. Apart from the obvious of missing the beautiful view driving in, it wasnt too bad. The last stretch on Hwy 9 was super dark and had some curves but we just took our time.

We arrived in Las Vegas about 2 pm and drove up that afternoon. We arrived about 5 pm in time to pick up our gear for hiking the narrows the next day. You pass through one gorge with some steep climbs but the drive is not bad if the roads are good. I would not make the drive at night if it was icy.
