Travelers' Choice
This is a place where you can settle in, Relax and get that desert peace the soul needs. In case you missed it, Red Rock Inn is not another hotel with a few people trying to take care of hundreds of guests. We have 8 cottages and know everyone on our property. That means you’ll get a personal experience you won’t find anywhere else. (if you want it) We’ll be happy to help you find the level of adventure or relaxation here in Zion and the surrounding areas that you desire. We know how to get you away from the crowds and having your own personal experience in Zion, even on the parks busiest days. The interior of the property overlooks a Terraced rose Garden, which invites you to come and sit, eat lunch, read a book or visit with new friends. Sun if you would like or sit under the shade of the Pecan trees your choice. All 8 of our cottages are different. However 4 of them are similar. The other 4 cottages are unique and stand apart and are not interchangeable.

From beginning to end our seat was excellent. The property is beautiful, the rooms are fantastic, then you add the views and the coolest neighborhood cat ever and you have an amazing experience! Oscar a for breakfast was a great way to top off our experience!

Let me say- this was a trip to celebrate my 35th birthday and 1 year anniversary of starting treatment for Breast Cancer. I wanted to love this place and have it be a great trip, after reading so many great reviews. I was let down by a number of aspects of our stay and lack of good customer service/hospitality when we were continuously let down with inconveniences. Accountability for changing the terms and not offering what was advertised, and offering a discount, can go a long way to at least feel like there is some care for the trouble we were put through. We paid a lot of money to stay there and did not feel like what we paid for was delivered on. The good things: great location close to shops, coffee, and 1 mile from Zion entrance, comfortable bed, bathtub jets, pretty view. Everything else, not quite as expected/worth the higher price tag: After a long drive, we arrive to find we weren't in the cottage we had reserved (I had specifically chosen the Watchmen Cottage for a number of reasons). No real apology, just a "oh yeah, that rarely happens when I have to move things for the calendar to work..." Disappointed, but okay fine, I can be flexible... The next day, heating/A/C guys were there to look at the unit in our room. I had chosen this Cottage for it's Covid-safety claims. Having people in my room during our stay was not ideal, as I have a compromised immune system. We return that night, turn the heat on, and it smells like burning plastic. It sets off the smoke alarm. I contact the innkeeper- no response. We didn't have heat that evening and had to air it out with the doors and windows for over 1 hour until it stopped smelling, so the room was freezing. Not to mention I have health issues that the toxic smell only exacerbated and I was coughing the entire night and couldn't sleep. I had put a refresh request card for more towels and soap-- didn't get replaced until 1 hour before checkout. Useless. Every evening we tried to get to the hot tub early for sunset- beat out by another person staying there (not the Inn's fault- just disappointing when you're staying there for 3 nights-- wish there was a sign-up system). Finally, we tried to use the firepit on our last night-- two pits there, not one worked. We tried for 10 minutes before finally giving up. It was just a bummer overall- I wanted to love it and have it be great. Just felt continuously disappointed by inconveniences

We stayed in the Narrows Room. It was surprisingly quiet and the manager, Sharon, was very kind: allowing us to lock up our mountain bikes right outside the room and sharing some good tips about the park. Breakfast at Oscar's(with vouchers) just a short walk away fueled us for our cycling and hiking in the park. The walk in shower was especially nice. The room was immaculate as well and high quality sheets on the bed.

We were so fortunate to find a place to stay so close to the park. The location really is perfect. The rooms are more like little duplexes of a bedroom and small bath. The shower was a bit lacking as temp was seemingly affected by the room next door. A couple fo extra towels provided in the room would have been nice as well. Regarding the location, it is only 1.2 miles from the Zion visitor center. We were able to walk between the two when we desired. There is also a Springdale shuttle stop just diagonal to the inn. The inn is on the Main Street in town. There is a small grocery store directly across the street and several restaurants within a short walk. Location can’t be beat.

I can't recommend this place enough. Our cottage was clean, comfortable, and very restful. The perfect home base for exploring Zion NP. The location is great, with restaurants and shops just a very short walk away. We especially enjoyed using the included vouchers for breakfast at Oscar's. Sharon was super friendly and gave us great advice that made our trip better. We would absolutely stay there again.
