So, our daughter looking for a place to stay near Zion for all of us (10 in our group), found Cable Mountain Lodge. We’re all so glad she did! It’s within walking distance to the entry to Zion National Park. The incredible Zion mountains act as a surreal backdrop to this majestic atmosphere. Our room (we got the luxury suite) was very spacious, clean and quite comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a coffee shop steps away along with a pub/cafe and market as well as gift shops (they all give discounts if you’re staying at the lodge). Also in close proximity are numerous walking trails and river winding. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience. We’ll be back!

If you can't get accommodations within the park, Cable Mountain Lodge in Springdale is just about as close as you can get. Wonderful accommodation and wonderful staff. Food is superb. And the Zion shuttle stops right at the Lodge to take you into Zion...truly one of the most beautiful national parks in the country.

There are so many wonderful things I could write about! The girl who checked us in was delightful. This service continued the entire time we were there. The residence loft we stayed in was very comfortable. The suite upstairs was totally private from the rest of the suite. The bidet toilet seats were a game changer. I’ve started in 1000s of hotels all over the world and never have had this pleasure. I will be buying one online! Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. This is my only complaint. I actually had to call the front desk at 1:15am because of a party going on next door. The spa is serene, spacious and delightful. We loved our services-especially from Holly and Briann. There is a palpable sweetness in the air and a mindful approach in all they do there. Having worked for a 5 star Forbes rated hotel and spa for 10 years, I have high expectations. Never mind the ridiculous location! My god...you just walk on the first trail in Zion from practically your doorstep! There are amenities right there as well and you can easily walk into town. Oh and the views from our suite were off the hook!!! I highly recommend Cable Mountain Lodge and Spa. The spa should be included in the name as it is equally impressive. Thanks to the staff for making my birthday celebration memorable including decorating our room with balloons, rose petals, a card and chocolates! I surely would return!

I really wanted to book the Canyon Loft residence for my family’s 3 night stay, but the finances were getting very thin on our 6 week holiday, so we ended up in the Wall Bed Suite instead. So then I just wished for an upgrade! The check in at reception was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, no genie was listening to my wishes, and we checked in to our 1st floor wall bed suite. The room was lovely. The bedroom was large (with the highest mattress ever), with plenty of storage options. My teenagers tell me that the wall and sofa beds were comfy. The kitchen had all the utilities that we needed to make our meals. We were a little disappointed with the view of the dirt mound from our room, but we rugged up and could get a partial Zion view from our deck. The onsite laundry was a very welcome facility, and my kids loved the spa. Whilst on the edge of Springdale, we were happy with the hotel location due to the proximity to Zion NP and Visitor Centre. If taking a night off cooking duties, I highly recommend Zion Brew pub next door (the meatloaf is sensational). Highly recommended.
