    Perfect Location
My wife and I stayed here May 2023 as the last stop on our tour through Utah's Mighty 5 parks and it was a great base from which to explore Zion. Our room (524) was large, comfortable and equipped with all amenities we needed to prep breakfast and lunch so that we could make the most of our days in the park. The location was excellent as not only was it less than a 5 minute walk (door-to-door) to the visitor centre and canyon shuttle, but also supported by an on-site gift shop, outfitters, shopping market with all necessary groceries, pub/bar with good service and good (we'd recommend the Elk burger) + a really convenient coffee shop (Perks) serving excellent cold coffees (amongst other things) that were a welcome treat on returning to the site after a hot day of hiking. We loved the location so much, the first time we drove any further south through Springdale than the Spotted Dog (another dinner recommendation) was on leaving. Would recommend.
GNO24, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. We are so glad to hear that you were able to take advantage of all that Cable Mountain Lodge has to offer. We hope that you will visit us again soon. Thank you,

    Great location, views, decor, discounts!
My husband and I (and friends) just returned from an awesome COVID-escape vacation to Zion National Park. Cable Mountain Lodge is located steps (literally) from the entrance to Zion. Staying here, they gave us 20% discounts on the market (which was fully stocked) and the Pub. Their rooms are decorated with mountain cabin feel and their pool, although standard rectangle, was adorned with beautiful flower baskets and a brilliant blue light during the night. Our room shared full views of the Zion mountains and the river runs right by the property (steps..literally) to float in inner tubes. The campground is just over the river so if you have friends there, walking there is a snap. The rental shop for the Narrows gear, bikes, and tubes is next to the property (again...steps). No need to get in a car when you stay here...it has it all!

    Splendiferous Springdale
I really wanted to book the Canyon Loft residence for my family’s 3 night stay, but the finances were getting very thin on our 6 week holiday, so we ended up in the Wall Bed Suite instead. So then I just wished for an upgrade! The check in at reception was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, no genie was listening to my wishes, and we checked in to our 1st floor wall bed suite. The room was lovely. The bedroom was large (with the highest mattress ever), with plenty of storage options. My teenagers tell me that the wall and sofa beds were comfy. The kitchen had all the utilities that we needed to make our meals. We were a little disappointed with the view of the dirt mound from our room, but we rugged up and could get a partial Zion view from our deck. The onsite laundry was a very welcome facility, and my kids loved the spa. Whilst on the edge of Springdale, we were happy with the hotel location due to the proximity to Zion NP and Visitor Centre. If taking a night off cooking duties, I highly recommend Zion Brew pub next door (the meatloaf is sensational). Highly recommended.

Really nice lodge. Nothing pretentious, but lovely staff, spacious rooms (a bit dated), and a fantastic location. We only spent one night but had a lovely time and found the people very helpful. The location is bang at the entrance of Zion and our room gave onto this beautiful mountain flank.

What an excellent place to stay while visiting Zion! The location is perfect - just a few minutes walk into the park. We stayed in a classic hillside view, one bedroom upstairs unit. It was spacious, clean, stocked with dishes, coffee, pots & pans, and cleaning supplies as well as toilets. Housekeeping came daily to refresh supplies, put out trash and make the bed. We used the pool and hot tub, both welcome after a day of hiking; towels were available poolside. We also went to the spa for massages and facials and they were excellent. It was nice to have a full kitchen to make breakfast and pack lunches for the day. We are in town, a short drive away, and also got takeout and sat outside on our terrace. Wonderful place to stay!

Great Choice. Location is superb. We had a Mountain View suite which was quite large and well-appointed, including a nice kitchen. Huge deck with great view (but - weirdly - with only two chairs on it (presumably they’d have solve that if we’d asked. Who knows?). It looks as though this is part of a fairly new development that includes a full market, a brew pub with great food and service, and a full scale outfitter with tons of rental gear, including Narrow hiking attire and bikes and e-bikes. They all share a parking lot. They are right next to the Park entrance and a shuttle stop. In other words, perfect location with all you need. It is a mile out of Springdale. We never got back in the car and went anywhere other than the park. It is everything it is advertised to be.

Located right at the entrance to Zion NP. Cable Mountain Lodge is nestled in the mountains with an amazing view of Zion. Parking lot adjoins nearby stores to pick up supplies and a restaurant. We stayed in a beautiful rustic king room equipped with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Room was very well done. We were even greeted with rose petals, chocolates and card for our anniversary. Staff was very accommodating of our needs and the pool was well maintained and a great afternoon reprieve after morning hikes. I would recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Zion.

This was a great place to stay. Our room was very spacious and some other rooms even had a fireplace. We had a balcony with a great view on the canyon. Friendly staff and the hotel is directly at the park entrance. We went for a hike after breakfast and left our car in the hotel car park. I can highly recommend this place.

The BEST location with unbelievable views from every angle, beautiful clean large room, lovely grounds, very nice pool, very comfortable beds, super friendly staff. We will stay here again. The area includes outfitters, a grocery, and a restaurant pub. All are nice. Oh yes and a coffee shop that is understaffed but good. The Springdale shuttle stops at the area. The hotel location attaches directly to a Zion Park entrance. The park shuttle serves this entrance.

Our family of 3 stayed here for 3 nights for our visit to Zion in mid-June. We had a Hillside Classic Suite, which is huge and well-appointed. It has a spacious living room with pull-out sofa (for our son, and comfortable according to him), a kitchen/dining area including stove top and full-size fridge + microwave, bathroom, and a bedroom with King bed. There is also a balcony with 2 Adirondack chairs. The suite allowed us to relax and enjoy after full days of hiking. We also checked out the pool. We normally do not spend this much on lodging, but after considering all the options, we chose to splurge on Cable Mountain Lodge. Not only the suite was very comfortable, the proximity to the entrance to Zion NP was a huge benefit. From our room, it's only a 5-min walk to the pedestrian entrance. We were able to easily enter and leave the park (and eat lunch back in our room/ rest in the afternoon etc), without worrying about parking or taking the Springdale shuttle. On our last day/departure day, we even got in a morning hike up Watchman's trail before check-out time at 11am. It saved us so much time by staying here rather than a hotel further away in Springdale, especially in June over the long weekend. We definitely saw long lines for the Springdale shuttle. Another benefit is the discount you get when you patronize the other businesses in the Zion Canyon Village. The hardest part is actually remembering to show your room card to get the discount! We ate at the Brewery twice and bought groceries at the Happy Camper market. The market is quite well-stocked and of course you pay a premium but you also get 20% off as a hotel guest. We would not hesitate to recommend Cable Mountain Lodge to our friends.

This hotel/resort was amazing! The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. This was the last hotel in our trip visiting several National Parks in Utah. You can’t beat the location, and everything the complex has to offer. Excellent food market, brewery, spa, camping store, and an outfitters to rent e-bikes and other items. Hotel offers 20% at all these stores. We opted for the room, which was very specious, extremely comfortable bedding and spotless. If I know anyone going to visit Zion, this hotel is a must. If we ever get back there, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The rooms on the first floor lack basic security features. The door locks are flimsy and there is no inside door latch or chain. The rooms is back face a parking lot that abutts open spaces. The rooms are large with one tiny closet that does not have a light. There is only one bery small trash bucket. The front desk staff is very rude and they do not understand the basics of customer service.
