I just got back from a Thanksgiving weekend stay at Half Dome Village, which I will always call Curry Village, even if the name is officially changed. Two of us stayed in a heated tent that had two singles and one double bed. The tent came with a shelving unit with four hooks to hang towels, a safe that's big... More

My family of 2 seniors, 2 adults and 2 kids stayed at Half Dome Village in the heated tents over Thanksgiving Holiday 2016. We did not know what to expect giving the weather and limited food options (eating options are all closed except the pizza place). The reviews from the group are mixed. 1)The kids LOVED it. We brought their... More

These tent cabins are the cheapest lodgings you will get inside Yosemite National Park. Don't expect the world of the lodgings, but the location is what you are paying for. We (5 adults) stayed here in the middle of May for two nights. Our tent cabin had a double bed and three single beds. There are both heated and unheated... More

We were worried about noise levels when we saw how close we were to the restrooms and the close proximity of all the other tents. But we were rarely bothered. The heater worked well. The only downside was that the floor needed a good sweeping and only got worse and there were no brooms to permit guests to take care... More

Fun to explore the souvenirs as well as the market and hiking gear. Surrounded by beauty. We attend a conference and the buildings are older and rustic but comfortable. Additional bathrooms in the outbuildings. Walk up pizza window serves coffee, soda, beer, & wine. Pastries and oatmeal in the morning and pizza in the evenings.

Great Location, kept us very dry and warm during the rains, and in the morning you are right there to start your hike at Yosemite. When you are used to Tenting - this is a bonus. Dry, off the ground and heated. During the fall season - that was awesome. Not to be compared with hotel accomadation - but we... More

We stayed for a night when visiting Yosemite NP in late October. We were unfortunate with the weather and Yosemite welcomes us with strong rain. The Village was easy to find and due to lower season it was easy to park. The Stoneman room was specious and clean, with own bathroom which was very appreciated. For the price and inside... More

We travelled from Australia with 3 kids. What a great experience. We had 5 nights here. Staff were great. Tent was in a great spot, close to toilet. We met fantastic people and ate great meals at the mess hall. Totally recommend this experience@!

Was there Nov. 2014 and then last year, again..Be sure to bring gaffing tape to tape the plastic flap that covered the door to the tent ,it just blows in the breeze and the heater had no effect in our tent (411) for the flap wasn't attached to the door which has a window. I would stay there again but... More
