We stayed in a pre setup canvas tent with wooden floors and heater. We underestimated how many people continue to walk around shining their torches around at night lighting up your tent and how far noise travels. Also rubbish trucks collect the trash really late and really early and our tent was close to a bin hence more noise. .... More

Not being a camper I was slightly nervous about our stay here but it was fantastic. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend! The tent cabins were surprisingly spacious (and we were a family of 5), had a safe, were lockable and the beds were comfy. In summer a heated tent isn't required. Blankets are provided (and needed)... More

Stayed here for 5 nights as a family of five. No aversion to sleeping in a tent, but this are the most expensive that I have slept in. Facilities are good - although we somehow missed the daily towel drop and bin emptying that was supposed to occur, and continued to be ignored even after flagging to house keeping. When... More

We got a last minute booking here the day before which I was told is quite common. My fiancé and I stayed in a heated tent which had 1 double bed and 2 singles which was great because we took the pillows and blankets off the 2 singles. If I was here with family or friends I would have found... More

After reading some pretty bad reviews about this Village accommodation on TripAdvisor I was almost not looking forward to our visit. I couldn't have been more wrong. Our unheated tent cabin was clean and contained everything we needed- a bed, shelf storage unit so you could store luggage off the floor, a safe for valuables, a light switch and bear... More

We wanted the whole Yosemite experience, but had only one night there and did not want to pack camping gear –Half Dome Village was the perfect solution! It's a full-sized, Canvas tent, with a locking door and screens, 4 cots (1 double, 3 single), all with clean sheets, wool blankets that are very welcome at 1:00 in the morning, pillows,... More

We're not campers, but when the only in-park lodging available was the Half Dome Village, we thought it might be fun to try. We were a group of eight people in three four-bed cabins (one double and three twin per cabin). I was happy we opted for more room rather than squeezing in with active youngsters like ours ( 4... We loved, loved, loved Yosemite National Park. I have never seen anything so breathtaking and enormous (I've never been to Grand Canyon). The park rangers and staff are very friendly and helpful. The tent cabins are relatively clean; same with the village showerhouses/bathrooms. My only complaint is that even when people think they are being quiet in the middle of... More

We stayed 2 nights here with our young family. We found the canvas tent and beds sufficient for our needs. There is no fluff or extras to half dome village but thats fine. It provided us with a place to sleep at night and was comfortable enough. We used the bathhouse and really appreciated the family bathroom with a shower.... More

Family of 5 stayed in 2 cabins for 3 nights. The cabins were basic but very comfortable and each had their own bath - about as rustic as I like it. It was great to stay right in the park - beautiful and close to everything. The food options at Half Dome Village were OK but not great. I would... More
