The tents are very close together and it can get noisy if people are outside their tents drinking or socialising. There is a guard that comes around at 10pm and tells everyone to get in their tents to allow people to sleep. They were very good at policing this so that was good for the kids who were trying to... This place is just so peacefull, the drive in was breathtaking. Entrance fee was $30 USA. Parking places a little hard to find. Even though we had pre booked checking in was terrible we waited in line for over half an hour. Make sure you do put everything in the locked lockers even perfume as I was told. Toilets are... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in a heated cabin with our own bathroom in January 2016. We were only there one night, but it was great. No bells and whistles, not even a tv but that's what we wanted. A warm place to sleep and our own private bathroom. It's a great location and the bus stops right in Curry... More

Yosemite is AMAZING, you must visit. Curry village was a good location and we chose here as it was one of the cheapest. We opted for the cabin with a private bathroom, it seemed a bit run down, however it almost felt it should be this way to fit where you are. It seemed a lot of money for what... More

A very busy camp ground. Tents well set up for families and very clean. Check in can take a while. Showers lacking in number and not so clean. A fun stop for a night. Look up - the view is amazing! A great base.

We stayed in the tents with provided sleeping bags. It was a bit chilly but once you bed down you don't even feel cold. Follow all the rules about no food in the cabins - they are there for a reason! Bathrooms are in a separate bathhouse, separated by gender, a short walk away from the tent area. If you... More

Thank you for your response. Curry Village can be a very busy place depending on the time of year. Not only do we provide showers for our guests but we are also providing public showers for the camp grounds as well. That makes the showers very busy. We do have Cabins and Hotel Rooms that also have private bathrooms. Those... More

We really enjoyed our two days off at Curry Village. The tents are a comfortable alternative to basic camping and the restrooms and showers are quite clean for the circumstances. They have a self-service restaurant,Pete's Coffe, a Pizza Place and a barbecue station. The also have a small outside pool. We wished, however, that there was a more traditional restaurant... More

Thank you for your response. We do have limited food service options in the winter months. During the summer months we offer more with our Pavilion Dining. The free WiFi is always a challenge. We have a high volume of usage and simply have not been able to improve bandwidth enough to meet demand. We recently more than doubled the... More

The wooden cabins are older, lovely, well kept with a bathroom and 3 of the 4 walls had lots of windows. This was perfect if one gets to experience snow in the winter of Yosemite. One day I actually saw a coyote trotting along the path between the cabins. The view consists of trees and other lovely cabins. The wooden cabins... More

I am not a camper and I loved this experience. The tents were ok. We were only in the tents to sleep. Pay attention to the rules of the camp, the bears are for real. I didn't see it on TA, but the best experience we had was rafting down the Merced. The river was really low because of the... More

We ended up staying there for 3 days because Yosemite was so beautiful that autumn, and that 2 nights wouldn't be enough. I had nothing to complain about Curry Village because everything was good in general. The staff was really really helpful. They also offered free coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. We stayed in a non-heated tent cabin... More
