My boyfriend and I have never been to Yosemite, and booked later in the season, therefore did not have any other option than to stay here at Housekeeping Camp and wow were we ever pleased! Unit and Bedding: It's tent camping without needing to haul the tent and spend time pitching one. We were in a unit with a set... More

We had two nights in Yosemite which was nowhere near enough to explore this wonderful park. Housekeeping Camp was a good base but we had mixed feelings about it. On arrival the reception staff's attempts at humour came across as rude and we were disappointed that the "linen packs" we had reserved were not available. Our "cabin" had been swept... More

Tent camping without the tent! Loved it. We flew in from FL packed most of our stuff. Sleeping bags Electric blanket Power strip Coffee maker We like the feeling of tent camping but without the tent. Great to be close to Merced and staying IN the valley is amazing!!

This was our first visit under the new management and we were pleased. We had a great little unit a short walk from the big beach area. The unit, F71, was everything we wanted----good beds, new storage units Plenty of pace in the two bear boxes and overall a great lil space. The weather was hot but cooled nicely once... More

We got a site here very last minute-we were very lucky. This campsite had really helpful staff and a great set up. The site we got was a walled & canvased hut which had a double bed and a bunk bed. We also had an outdoor area with a table etc. which was private. The bathroom & shower facilities were... More

We spent 5 nights here with a group of adult friends and their children (aged 1 to 16) in a group of 10 adjacent cabins. The positives: you are right on the banks of the Merced River with lovely sand/pebble beaches and shallow (at least at the beginning of August) waters- perfect for children of all ages. Our 23 month... More

We were able to snag a couple nights last minute - so if there are no camping spots and you're scrambling to find a place, try here! Cost about 100 bucks per night - first week of August, our camp was right on the Merced river. Some things to note: - The location is excellent, you may get a spot... More

This was our first time visiting Yosemite and it was fantastic to be able to stay right in the valley. We swam in the stream nearby and had a great time building the camp fire. The camp was clean (as long as you remember you're camping and not in a hotel), and we also had a little table and benches... More

My favorite place to stay in the valley is the Camp Curry tent cabins but this June we decided to give Housekeeping a try. The reviews here on TA are quite accurate so I really don't have much else to add. Unfortunately we were right next to a rude, noisy group of 10 people. I'm pretty sure that's over the... More
