I read the reviews and was disappointed this place is class. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome and to top it off the scenery is simply breathtaking. If you are going to Yosemite I would strongly recommend staying at the Majestic. The hotel is in prime location in the valley with good parking and a pool. The... More

Has to be the best place to stay right in the Valley. A mixture of Art Deco and native Indian design. Non hotel guests come to tour the hotel as an attraction. you will need to book months ahead but worth doing. We found the food expensive and not of top quality. Also the limited menu didn't change for the... More

We were not guests at the hotel but booked a meal as a special treat on our last night in the park.Lovely restaurant and given a nice table by the window.Srvice was good. However the food was disappointing and pricey given the poor quality.I had a soup and then a pasta.Soup was something with ham (sorry forgot what the something... More

Memorable restaurant experience because of the view, ambiance, and staff. We were led into the restaurant by Sharon and who would guess that she does it with such grace you feel like the parents of the bride and groom ushered down the aisle. It was the transcendent experience you are supposed to experience in the park itself. Also once in... More

Such an amazing hotel. Ask for a room with a view - you will not be disappointed. Good service, clean rooms and although not modern the bathroom was clean. Food was good, you have a choice of the restaurant and the bar has now been refurbished and has re-opened.

A fabulous hotel with staff that were helpful and attentive. We did not know anything about it except the beautiful pictures. Some reviews were not so good, so we were not sure about going, but always wanted to stay in the great lodges. We were not disappointed. The room was great- with a breathtaking view- we opted to reserve a... More

Brought my family here during our visit to Yosemite so that I could cross this lodge (known to me as the Ahwanhee) off my list. So so beautiful. Filled with history, one of the great lodges of the west does not disappoint. Went for drinks. Great service in a once in a lifetime setting. If you are in Yosemite -do... More

The service at The Majestic, formerly the Ahwahnee, was flawless. I was greeted quickly and shown to an older suite, that was clean and maintained the feeling of old world charm. The complimentary wi-Fi, a refrigerator in the room and 3 bathrobes. The restaurant and lobby plus bar have gone through major renovations. The staff was extremely accommodating making suggestions... Let me start by saying this is not the Ritz Carlton in a national park...so do not expect that type of service and amenities. However, it is a beautiful historic lodge with a lot of charm and a gorgeous dining room. We had a Classic King room which was on the corner. It was quite large and the room was... More

After a six hour hike my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice refreshment at the Majestic hotel and went to their bar. I ordered a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc and my husband ordered a Miller and our server, Steven, brought the drinks, one of which was a glass of Merlot. He obviously misunderstood my husband...
