The lodge is located within the Yosemite Village a gorgeous location. We stayed in the Maple lodge and had a lovely balcony view of the park, with cedar pines and mountains. The room was very spacious and clean, the fixtures and fittings are lodge rustic style but they have all the amenities you need. We were very happy with the... More

Greats rooms, great property, great place to stay. Lodge was in a great location in the valley and allowed east access to all the wonderful things to see. Great options for food and drink with everything from a cafeteria to an upscale lounge. Would come back for sure.

We visited Yosemite on a road trip and the views from this hotel were breathtaking whether there is a waterfall or not. The location is perfect for exploring the valley. The rooms were clean and a good size. The staff were really friendly and gave great advice on what hikes and tours to do. One thing that is important was... More

We had a newly renovated room that wad clean and well appointed with a refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, ceiling fan and additional fan. The view was spectacular of lower Yosemite Falls. The cleaning crew was friendly and efficient. We had a very short walk to bus service, food and shopping. Would definitely recommend!

The Yosemite Lodge is in an excellent location for exploring the Valley. The lodge was full so we had to book a family room which was more than we needed as it came with extra bunk beds. We really liked our room - it was spacious and was well equipped with a comfortable queen bed, decent bathroom, fridge, large flat... More

In Yosemite it's all about location so staying at either the Lodge ($200+) or the lovely Ahwahnee ($400+) is a must. Yes it's pricey but worth it for views and ambiance - and not to have the hour or more drive from other locations. Our room had been renovated and was comfortable while maintaining a rustic, park experience. Rooms are... More

We loved Yosemite and the Lodge is a great place to explore the park from. The free shuttle and other tour buses stop right outside reception. There is a good variety of places to eat. The Mountain Room Lounge serves drinks and bar meals, while the restaurant is a lovely setting for a meal. Although we didn't really fancy eating... More

National park accomodations are usually never in the luxury category unless you go to the top of the line ones in some of the parks. What you are paying for is the location and accessibility to the park and since Yosemite is such a huge park (the size of Rhode Island), you are within steps of the free park shuttles.... More

This was our first visit to the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. We traveled with 2 other couples in our Roadsters. The hotel was a little pricey, but we loved the location and the convenient access for bus transportation. We would definitely go back.

The Yosemite Lodge is an older facility, and from the exterior it looks a lot like similar facilities at Grand Canyon and other parks. What you are paying for here is the location and views, not luxury. At a glance the interior of our room (#4205) had the necessary accommodations, and the bathroom appeared to have been refitted, albeit on... More
