We stayed two nights recently at Yosemite Lodge. The room in Aspen (buildings have nature names) was adequate and well heated. Remarkable in that the room temperature was always right where you'd want it to be, not too warm and not cool, and there was absolutely no noise. This is in contrast to our cottage at the pricier Tenaya Lodge,... More

Great place to stay to enjoy the park - professional staff that is willing to help you enjoy your overall park experience. Definitely recommend as staying at the lodge enhances your overall park experience. Definitely recommend to familys as allows you to experience the park first hand; staying outside the park does not offer you the same experience. Very helpful... More

The Lodge is walking or wheelchair distance to Yosemite Falls! The cafeteria has good choices for kids and adults; they serve hearty, healthy and honest coffee and food. The large TV had good selection of cable channels, and the bathroom has good amenities that did not make my skin itch. Overall, our family's favorite place to stay in Yosemite.

The upgraded room, as well as the addition of coffee service and a refrigerator, were nice surprises. The lodge gives you a safe and comfortable environment to enjoy the experience of visiting Yosemite. We enjoy being in Yosemite either in the late Fall, Winter or early Spring when the crowds are smaller. The scenery and the joy of being in... More

The main thing I found with the lodge is they don't try very hard. 1. Check out at 11 - five. Check in at 5pm - ridiculous. In winter you are checking in and driving in the dark - terrible. Add to that only two people taking check inn so there were lines of up to ten families. First visitor... More

Great, convenient and natural way to experience the essence of Yosemite. It's not a classic, large "lodge" like others in the West, but a great place to stay in a wonderful location. Service was friendly and rooms sufficient but not luxurious.

We were very pleased to stay in the Hemlock building with the bunk beds. Great room..great view and best of all, so close to everything. Clean and neat and the perfect spot to see it all. I would love to go back in the summer. Winter was beautiful though.

BEAUTIFUL scenery and Great location in the heart of Yosemite Valley! We woke up to Deers outside our patio door in the morning. Short walk to the dining hall, restaurants and tours. Short family hikes easily reached. Be Aware that the lodge has no AC - we visited in mid July and didn't even need the AC on. Room had... More

Overall a good experience. Very expensive due to the setting, but a must see. Beware of the 5pm check in time! Internet was sporadic, but seriously. Go outside. It's Yosemite. Comfortable, clean and functional accommodations a few steps away from everything.

Beautiful surroundings - this is a great place to stay in the winter when it's cold but the service is mountain service as expected- if you go with an expectation of cafeteria food and a fun bar to hang out in you will enjoy- not gourmet food or service at the lodge but beautiful!
