A big mahalo to Karen, Ali, and Christine for an incredible stay. You guys made us feel right at home! First of all the breakfast was incredible! We had A German pancake, a frittata, and French toast during our time there. Great fuel for all of the hiking we did in Yosemite. Staying at Yosemite West high Sierra is just... More

The Yosemite High Sierra B&B is located in Yosemite West which is within the park but privately owned. The B&B is conveniently located (only 20 minute drive) to Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, and Wowona village which made it easy to get back if maximizing your time hiking or in the valley. The owner and her daughters, were wonderful hosts and... More

Been meaning to review this place for a few years now but never used Trip Advisor before. Reading a few of the other reviews, it seems that not a lot has changed since our visit, which is great. The host, Karen, is the star of the show, and provides all the information and support you'd need for making the most... More

The woman who manages this place was extremely rude to me. I would not recommend staying here. Very over priced for what you get and the customer service is seriously lacking. In the future I'd just buy a tent and actually camp in Yosemite. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!

I’m sorry you were unhappy with your stay. However, we are perplexed by your review since the B&B was not open in March of 2016, the dates you stayed, as posted in your review. Perhaps you confused us with another property. Would you please send a copy of your confirmation and contact us by phone at 209-372-4808 so we can... More

This place is so close to all that Yosemite has to offer. The rooms are private with private baths. Our host was gave us fantastic tips on things to see and do. We loved the views from the living room and it was a welcoming experience after a day hiking around the park. We will be back and I would... More

High quality in every way! Beautiful house, spacious room with a comfortable bed, fabulous breakfasts, fun connecting with other guests, and owner Karen and daughters Ali and Christine are so friendly and see to your every need. Those 88 stairs from the street up to the entrance will get you in hiking form! They thoughtfully provided a bench to catch... More

It nicely sited just off the beaten path, which was perfect for the crowded Labor Day weekend when you needed to get away from the Valley, but close enough so you don't spend too much time in the car to get on the trails. It was constructed as a bed-n-breakfast so the common area is inviting but the rooms are... More

Karen and her daughters Ali & Christine are fabulous! After staying at 3 B&Bs in California before arriving to High Sierra for the last 3 nights of our honeymoon, we couldn't have been more surprised at what a wonderful place it is! Breakfasts were amazing - there's always a hot meal, along with freshly made coffee, fruit, bars for the... More

Our family of five (including two teenage boys) stayed for a wonderful 4 nights in this comfortable and homely apartment within the Yosemite National Park. The apartment has its own terrace with table and chairs which we used in the evenings to play some of the games that were provided. The real value came with the owner and host Karen,... More

My wife and I stayed 6 days and 5 nights here. It far exceeded our expectations in every single way. Bob was the best! We really enjoyed our mornings talking with him. Not only does he have the best stories, but he spent each morning helping us plan our day, giving us directions and tips that really helped make each... More
