After checking in at the modern reception centre, we were directed to one of the accommodation blocks a distance away, which we quickly christened Cell Block E though perhaps a more accurate comparison would be with a 1950's tenement. The corridors at 4.30pm were piled with used bedding and the residue of meals eaten in rooms. The room was dull,...

Thank you for your recent comments advising us of your visit to Grant Village Lodge. I was disappointed to learn about your experience at this lodge. Stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour group. We were in Bldg A which was an advantage because it was a short walk to restaurant. The rooms are small and furnished with very basic furniture. There is no tv, cell phone service or internet, but after touring Yellowstone each day we were ready to go to bed. The...

I did stay at the end of the saison (end september) and the price was with 155usd per night not low. There is no TV, no internet, no breakfast, no fridge. We were traveling with a bird watching/photographic group of 15, from the UK. Stayed at Grant Village for 2 nights on the 23rd and 24th of Sep. The travel company made all the arrangements so I have no idea of the cost of the accommodation. We stayed in block A room 223. The stairs have 14 steps. Enough if you...

We stayed here on a coach tour. This place didn't seem very clean at all; the floor hasn't been clean in a very long time. It could have used a dusting. The hair dryer didn't work in the morning(called and was told they couldn't do anything); I guess all their money went into expensive coffee pots (Keurig Coffee machines). We...

Thank you for your recent comments advising us of your visit to Grant Village Lodge. I was disappointed to read about your experience at this location. The non-functioning hair dryer should have been replaced upon your request, and the breakfast should have been more appealing. Please accept my apologies for these inconveniences and rest assured that I will address these...

Granted the lodging is limited in Yellowstone, but Grant Village is definitely not an option. The place is very run down and in need of a serious remodel. It was OK to have no TV (that was quaint) but the walls were paper thin, furniture seemed to be from a 1980's remodel, the bathroom barely fit one person and appeared...

I stayed in Lodge #B. The rooms were pretty bare bones, but comfortable, clean and quiet. No TV, but didn't need it in the park. It was a bit of a walk to the restaurant, but worth it. Restaurant had great staff and bison steak was wonderful.

Last year I stayed several days in a cabin at Snow Mountain Lodge and passing through this year I stayed one night at Grant Village Lodge. Both accommodations were very well maintained. It's true the rooms and showers in Grant Lodge are small but I found the place very pleasant. It's great to be close to the things you want...

We were lucky and snagged a room on the first floor of building B. There are no elevators to the second floor and one has to carry luggage upstairs.....bell hops are scarce! The rooms are very basic similar to Super 8 motels. However, they meet the need. Over priced, but hey you are in Yellowstone......if you want a fancy room,...
