excited about staying at this property! Unfortunately booking this property became an issue but not the fault of the hotel. That said, we caution you to avoid booking this or any other property through a website US Parks Lodging. You may be led to believe that this is an

We stayed for a couple of nights while touring the area, the rooms are pretty average, beds are comfortable though. Bathroom small with tiny shower stall. You are really paying to stay in the park, so location is great right on the lake with several nice hiking trails. We had

This appears to be the newest lodging in the park. The room was a simple hotel room with a good bed and nice bathroom. The parking is just outside the building with no steps between the parking lot and the building. The buildings are two stories. There are no elevators.

First of all: it is not a lodge but a collection of 6 two stories-buildings with 50 rooms each and it has the charm of an old fashioned youth hostel. Rooms are clean but small. Beds are good, furthermore it is basic. Deception about facilities lacking or poor: no laundry

We paid $285 for 1 night in a Premium Room. It was a smaller room compared to hotels that are less than 1/2 the price. I can understand that a national park charges a lot more. No TV. At least it was comfortable and clean, and the furnishings were newer. We had to travel to the

Hello! Does this lodge have AC? It's a stop on our trip this summer and I'm getting concerned. Thx!
They do NOT have A/C. None of the lodges/hotels do. However, this usually isn't a problem as the nights can get somewhat chilly in Yellowstone. No TVs either, but you probably already knew that.

Don't think there are shuttles. The only bridge I can think of is Fishing Bridge near Yellowstone Lodge. Great for early morning photos. several places serving food, but can be crowded.

What food services and operating hours are available a Grant Village?
We stayed 5 nights in Grant Village in June 2017. Both restaurants have great lake views. 1. "Grant Village Dining Room" is open for 3 meals a day. At breakfast you can have buffet or menu. For dinner, you must have a reservation. 2. "Lake House" is NOT open for lunch. The breakfast is only buffet. It's not bad, and it is the same price in both restaurants. For dinner, there are NO reservations here, but you might have a long wait. You can easily walk between these two restaurants. Look at the web pages for the open hours. NPS dot gov and yellowstone - "Plan Your Visit" The Grant General Store sells snacks, food (groceries), and drinks, but it does not have any dining facilities. Now, the park's list says it does, but I think that is a mistake. We did go inside that store, but I do not remember seeing a restaurant inside. I could be wrong. At some of the other park lodging areas, the store DOES have a restaurant, with a counter like a diner. Canyon is one of those places. We ate dinner there one night and did not have to wait too long for seats at the counter. It's basic burgers and sandwiches in the store restaurants. All the stores have delicious hand-scooped ice cream. Enjoy your trip!!
