I spent one day in Yellowstone and car camped at this campground one night. Campground was well maintained. There were many people and it was sold out by the time I arrived. If you have AARP it is half-priced so it was a good deal for me for one night.

We really enjoyed our stay here while in Yellowstone for 5 days. We saw lots of wild life and even had a large group of elk walk right through our campsite! Keep your food in your car locked up. We heard from quite a few people that they saw bears in the immediate area, although we never saw one thankfully.... More

Be prepared... it is primitive camping... Just a spot to put your tent and a nice fire pit to cook on. The bathrooms are clean, but don't expect hot/warm water this is none. Hot water is only available If you heat it on the fire... :( It is a little tough if you have never camped in bear/wolf country... EVERYTHING... More

Grant Village tends to be less crowded than some of the other parts of the park, but this campground will still sell out! The camp is set within the forest on Yellowstone Lake. Showers and laundry are at the check-in point and are a short drive or bike ride away. Restrooms are clean and well maintained.

This stay was for two nights. The lodge rooms are small and basic. No air conditioning and no television provided. In July it was too hot for no air conditioning. We were first placed in a first floor room the window had to be opened for fresh air. We requested to be changed to the second floor in order to... More

We stayed 3 nights in July in the Grant Village Campground in Yellowstone (the week after the 4th of July holiday). It's a pretty place with lots of lodge pole pines. It is right next to Yellowstone Lake though the trees are thick enough you don't really see it from the sites (and we were quite close). It's maybe 100-150yards... More

Just got back from one night at Grant campground. Overall the place is decent- bathrooms were fine, dishwashing station was useable. We didn't have strong feelings one way or another about this place. It is a huge campground with mixed tent/rv sites next to each other. There are also power lines running through the campsites (FYI). The showers and laundry... More

We stayed in a lot for a popup tent camper. There are no hookups available. There are flush toilets and water is available. During our stay the first week of July, days were in the 70s, but the nights got down to 30s so be prepared to dress warm during the evenings. All Yellowstone campgrounds are very strict about Bear... More

Me and my family camped here on the 4th of July. It was an awesome experience! We were given a group site spot since there was no groups going in that day and it was great! Very big area to set up a tent. There is cell phone service if you need to use a phone(verizon). It was very nice... More

We stayed at the Grant Village campground for 6 days. The spot they gave us was right by the lake and had enough shade. The campground was nice and it had been kept up. The restrooms and showers were clean. Doing laundry was easy and convenient. If you like camping any of the campgrounds at Yellowstone are worth it.
