We stayed here for 2 nights in July - there were 4 of us, 2 couples - and were greeted by our hosts, CD and Kathy with open arms. The house is beautiful with grand views and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. CD is a darned good cook! The rooms, all on the bottom floor with shared bathrooms (but... More

The owners of the Copper Moose B&B are the friendliest people you could wish to meet. They really did make us feel that we 'arrived as guests and left as friends'. CD cooked wonderful breakfasts freshly made to order. The house is in a serene setting and very convenient for a stop-over if you are travelling to Chitina to catch... More

We really enjoyed our one night at Copper Moose B&B on our way to McCarthy / Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The location was a great stopping point on our drive. CD and Kathy were wonderful hosts with an absolutely beautiful log cabin home/B&B. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The 4 guestrooms are downstairs with a separate entrance. We shared... After being on the road for almost 2 months it was great to find this wonderful place to relax. The bedroom was 1st class and the hosts were more than obliging. We were asked each evening what time we would like to have breakfast and it was always ready, varied, tasty and filling. There location puts you adjacent to miles of... More

This is the best place to stay period. My mothers stayed here and was very impressed with the rooms and the food which was provided. Had a great time. the visit to Alaska was particularly pleasant because of this accommodation.

A very nice and beautiful B&B. It is quite remote. It has gorgeous scenery around. So there is no street noise. The rooms were very clean. You have to share the bathroom. Four rooms share two bathrooms. The freshly prepared breakfast in the morning was good. Although it is quiet from the outside, this time, our second visit after five... More

We apologize for the noise. In all of our thirteen years running our B&B we have never had a complaint about noise. We take these things seriously and will endeavor to make sure that the noise level is kept to a minimum. I am the cook and pull off my shoes and slide my feet while working in the kitchen... More

Being slightly off-season, our options were somewhat limited regarding places to stay near Wrangell-St Elias. This turned out to be a wonderful find. A most charming home, with a wonderful host/hostess and a real breakfast. And the view amazing.

Six of us were backpacking in a couple of areas in Wrangell St Elias and we stayed here after each hike. C.D. had dessert waiting for us each evening and it was delicious. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was also outstanding. The home is a spacious and gorgeous log cabin with four bedrooms. The upstairs has a... More

We spent a night in the RV, which turned out to be more comfortable and bigger than many of the normal rooms. It included a dining room with kitchen facilities and a huge bed as well as separate bedroom and bathroom. Copper Moose, however, is an unforgettable place thanks to its owner. The owner warmly welcomed us in the evening,... More

I can't say enough about this beautiful Bed & Breakfast. From the excellent view of the Wrangell mountains to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms and living room, there is a homey feel. This modern log cabin offers free wifi, dish network, and a delicious hot breakfast. The owners are welcoming and sure to be our friends by the time we... More
