Historic 1825 Federal-style home with cozy, but large guest rooms. All have private baths. We offer a comfortable, quiet common area with fireplace, large-overstuffed chairs and couch; porch with rocking chairs; and lounges and umbrellas in the pool area. The bed and breakfast is located in the village close to restaurants, museums, and the waterways. We are well-suited for romantic getaways, families, girls' weekends, traveling with friends.

Very nice accommodation and Carol is a great host and breakfast cook. We had a great weekend visiting the wineries, rose hill mansion, great restaurants in town and outlet shopping. Lots to do and see.

Thank you for sharing your experience at the VanCleef Homestead with other travelers. It is very rewarding when one of our guests appreciates what we do and the amenities and services we provide. It is especially nice when our guests stay more than a day or two so they can truly enjoy this grand old house, the beautiful Finger Lakes, and the quaint town of Seneca Falls. The comfort and meeting the needs of our guests is our priority, and it is great to know that we are doing the job well. We love sharing our home and the place where we live with everyone who visits. Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough review of your stay. We look forward to your return!

This is a beautiful historic home. We have stayed here before and as always we had a great time. The rooms were perfect and our breakfast each morning was excellent. Many great things to do near by; from wineries, breweries, museums, etc. We loved it!

What a privilege to stay in this historic homestead in Seneca Falls; well maintained (to historic standards, by the hand of the owner, no power tools!). We learned a lot of history about the town and the home from the owners, and enjoyed a beautiful room and a delicious

My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays in the Seneca Falls area, and staying at the VanCleef Homestead B&B felt like we were home. Carol made us feel welcome, and her suggestions for things to do in the area were spot on. We stayed in the Swaby Suite, and it was perfect

Thank you for taking the time to let other travelers know about your experience at our B&B. When you love where you live (in the beautiful Finger Lakes) and enjoy what you do, it is easy to be enthusiastic and to recommend enjoyable and fun things to do. Looks like I did a good job, and thank you for all of your wonderful comments. I do hope you and Wendy - or your hubby - will be back in the future. You were lovely ladies who made it a pleasure to have as guests in our home! Happy Birthday, and many more!

I think the Mynderse Room would most suitable for large and quiet. The B&B sits back from the street, and the walls are very thick. Our current rate is $140 per night, based on double occupancy. Yes, all the rooms have private baths.
