My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful and the accommodations were great. The hostess and her cat were also wonderful. The peace and quiet of the bed and breakfast and the location gave us a wonderful chance to relax and unwind.

Our book group stayed here this past week. There were 6 of us so we occupied the entire house. We were treated like royalty! This home is in an ideal location, a 15 minute walk to downtown. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The dining room is charming and the living room is comfortable with... More

My friend and I stayed for one night and wished we could have booked another. It's often difficult to find a B&B with 2 queen beds and the Swaby Suite totally ticked all the boxes for us. It had 2 adjoining rooms with queen beds with beautiful quilts and a private bath across the hall. VanCleef Homestead is beautifully maintained... More

We loved this place! The house is charming and historic. Our room was fabulous - very large and with a comfortable king sized bed. Carol, our host, thought of so many details. She refreshed a pitcher of iced water for us in the room each day. The bathroom was equipped with all the basics plus many more including bubble bath... More

It has been a few years since we have been there, but our trip is planned for September 27th. First the rooms are wonderful. The breakfasts are to die for, and the inn keeper's are fantastic. We were made to feel at home. The four of us can't wait to go again!!

Wow - a review before you even come in September! Thanks so much for the confidence. We won't let you down!! When you were first here, we were just getting our feet wet, so to speak. With 10 years under the old belt, we have learned a few things to enhance the experience. We look forward to hosting your stay... More

The VanCleef Homestead is a lovely old home that is well maintained. The owner, Carol, is very attentive to guest’s needs. Breakfasts are more than ample and well balanced. The location is ideal for touring some local history and the northern Finger Lakes wineries. It would be helpful to have fact sheets of things to see in the area and... More

Thanks for your great review and tips for other travelers. We enjoy hosting folks who are interested in our local history and who enjoy the award winning wines offered in the Finger Lakes. We stayed in the main house and all four rooms were beautiful. Our stay was on an exceptionally hot day making the presence of a swimming pool especially enjoyable. However, the tone of the visit was epitomized by fact that the owner found us after we had been biking for an hour and delivered some clothing that we had forgotten. Great... More

Bikers (the pedal kind) are the best! This delightful group of gentlemen were very early arriving to our B&B, but I was out running errands and going to an appointment. They busied themselves by taking in the sites in town and enjoying the shade from the trees in our yard. They enjoyed the pool, on my return, along with my... More

We spent two nights at VanCleef Homestead, and our room was cozy and quiet. Carol is an attentive host, and full of information. Since I grew up in the area, it is easy to make recommendations for things to see and do. I love "showing" our guests the beauty of the area and lakes, and it is particularly rewarding when they heed my recommendations and have a great time! Kind reviews are the best compliment. Comfortable room, delicious and plentiful breakfast. Carol couldn't have been nicer...and more accommodating! Visited while touring Cayuga Wineries, so it was very convenient. Close to "town" (Seneca Falls). Would have made a nice walk, if we were motivated after sipping all day!
