Arrived here after 2500 mile round trip from Denver ,through Colorado, and up to Yellowstone. Booked one night, found clean comfortable accommodation and booked a second night.Spent a peaceful day relaxing in garden area.A 15 minute walk into town found reasonably priced restaurants. Hosts very attentive.

Not quite what we expected from the high reviews we read on this place. It's a good thing the room had two beds - my husband & I couldn't have fit together in one! The pillows were also small & few. The toilet/shower area was extremely cramped. There was nowhere to park so we parked next to where you check... More

I probably would look for another place next time. Please don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. Very small and plain. Priced too high for what we received. Location is good, excellent family restaurant a block away. We may have been the only ones there that were not "Sturgis" bikers.

We just needed a place to stay for a short night while on our road trip and the Dollar Inn was reasonably priced. The room was basic and well worn. There were a couple bugs dead on the floor in the bathroom and the tub was very slippery since the non-stick surface was completely worn off. Our room was on... More

Room appeared clean when first entered. We ended up having to take cover off the bed because it was heavily perfumed with what smelled to me like rug deodorizer. There were bottle caps on the floor from previous guests. We had a 2 night stay. It had a king bed with 2 pillows. Not enough. We asked for more pillows... More

Stayed for a night . beds and pillows were terrible. Staff was friendly. Room was decent sized but had a funny smell and the a.c. was not working the best. Had a nice breakfast. And was close to a gas station and restaurant. Would not stay again

We used this hotel as a base for our excursions to Mt.Rushmore, the badlands, Walls Drug, Wind cave, Crazy Horse, etc. We felt very safe returning to this motel after dark. We were comfortable in this motel for 4 days. The couple in the office was very helpful and friendly.

This was an economical, conveniently located hotel. It was very close to Evans Plunge. The owners were welcoming and provided a basic breakfast of hard boiled eggs, cereal, and pastries. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

This is the worst hotel that I have stayed at, ever. The front desk seemed nice at first, but pricing is weird. They charged us extra, because apparently they charge per person, except they didn't mention this on their website. The rooms are horrible, dusty with the smell of mold. We had to air out the room by opening the... More

I called after booking a 2 night stay to change our reservation dates and ask about a current review saying they had bugs in their room and it was dirty. The owner laughed and said "No Bugs"! Well there were bugs and a clump of hair in the bathtub. I told the owners and after returning from a late business... More
