My wife and I came for a wedding anniversary celebration this weekend. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. Anand and Naina are providing world class hospitality in Walla Walla. If you’re looking for a quiet escape in wine country and still get 5 star service and quality, this is the place for you.
The hospitality and amenities at The Barn B&B have been well and thoroughly documented by other reviewers. I wish to describe some details that launch this property into the stratosphere. Every aspect of the guest experience is thoughtfully curated by hosts Naina and Anand Rao. A colorful collection of teapots, artwork and mirrors from their world travels. A joyful Thai fishing bell welcome. Breakfast with distinctive Far Eastern flavors. A serene palette of soft beige, creamy white and black in guest rooms with bright floral accents and every conceivable comfort. A private Zen garden with stepping stones leading to a delightful rain shower. Two delicate chocolates on a doily under a glass dome and a bottle of dry Rose in the re-purposed wine barrel refrigerator . A perfect 85 degree pool and 100 degree hot tub. Exquisite architecture, fixtures and handcrafted tables. For all its world-class sophistication, The Barn B&B somehow makes every guest feel not only pampered, but valued. Well done, Naina and Anand.…
Tasting wine around Walla Walla, you quickly discover your opinion of a wine is often influenced as much by the EXPERIENCE you have at the winery as it is by the wine itself. The same could be said for Walla Walla accommodations: there are many fine places to stay, but the experience at The Barn B&B truly sets this place apart. Our six-night stay at The Barn was truly spectacular! The immaculate room was designed to accommodate a traveler's every need, from the in-room wine fridge to the outdoor shower. The pool provided a refreshing and convenient spot to connect with fellow travelers and compare tasting notes at the end of the day. However, hosts Anand and Naina truly made The Barn unforgettable. They offered a level of personalized service we have never encountered in all our travels. Spot-on recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and local attractions were just the beginning. They obviously delighted in getting to know each and every guest and never missed an opportunity to express a sincere interest in everyone's daily plans and activities. The gourmet breakfasts completely exceeded our expectations every single day, but the Thursday night meal was the true highlight of our stay. Prepared with love and executed to perfection, this joyful meal was a culinary masterpiece! I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Walla Walla. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit.…
The Barn B and B was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was exceptional about our stay, but the hosts, Anand and Naina, were the best part about our stay. Naina’s home cooked breakfasts are some of the best we have ever had in all of our travels. The rooms are quiet, clean, and very comfortable with the best amenities you could ask for from a private outdoor showers to a welcoming glass of wine when you arrive. We loved the pool, hot tub, and quiet outdoor setting as well. We will tell all of our friends and family about The Barn B and B and we cannot wait to plan our next visit! Thank you Anand and Naina for help us make our anniversary trip so memorable. Erin and Myron Spokane, WA
Very beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The Hosts Anand and Naina are so welcoming and the breakfast were the best. Each room has it's own private Zen Garden with a refreshing outdoor shower that we thought was really nice. We loved ending our days sitting outside having a glass of wine and listening to the breeze rustle through the wheat fields. We will definitely stay here on our return trips to the Walla Walla wine country.
This was our second stay at the Barn B&B. It was just as wonderful as the first time we visited. Anand and Naina are the most wonderful hosts. They do everything to make your stay wonderful and safe. They are located on the West side, just 5-7minutes from Downtown Walla Walla. The Pros: -Fabulous Breakfasts. -Wonderful spacious Accommodations and Amenities Too many things to write about, so it's best to look them up on their website. - It's peaceful and quiet. -Close to wineries The Cons: None
We celebrated Father’s Day, Birthday and Anniversary and stayed 7 fabulous nights in the The Granery room it was beyond amazing! Naina and Anand are beautiful gracious host and make sure you feel welcomed and spoiled. The Thursday night dinner with them and other guest was truly enjoyable and then don’t miss the complimentary breakfast every morning, Naina is quite the cook. Anand’s recommendations for wineries were top notch, some of our favorites not to be missed Force Majure, Woodward Canyon, Garrison Creek, Va Piano, Pepperidge and take the drive to Red Mountain enjoy Col Solare, Avennia, Kiona. The Barn B&B Walla Walla is truly a gem and we will be back!
The Barn BnB is just amazing. Beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. We had a fairly large party and they we’re able to accommodate everyone. Everything was top quality and the kindness and hospitality of the owners really came through. Also, location is excellent for western end of Walla Walla wineries and is only 15 min into town.
Well thought-out b&b. Loved the outdoor shower, even in May rain. Relaxing room. Comply bed. Loved the in-room nespresso. Hosts were awesome. Love the breakfast, and the hospitality. We plan to be back in the fall.
It wasn’t bad - just thinking there are better options for a group of girlfriends. I thought it odd that we’re were charged a corkage fee when we brought wine for dinner - even though they didn’t offer wine as an option with dinner. Seemed excessive given the price point on the room. Unlikely to stay there again.
