Now that LQs don't take pets or charge ridiculous add-on fees, we were looking for alternatives. This motel was a nice surprise. It's not fancy, but the complex was very quiet even though it seemed lots of the rooms were occupied. Our room was priced right (even with a $10 pet fee), very clean, recently renovated (much nicer than the Choice Hotels website photos show), and quite spacious with a comfortable king bed, lounging chair with ottoman, good work space, mini fridge and microwave (which, oddly enough were not--yet?--situated in the new furniture that had built-in spaces for them), good lighting and side tables, dresser and hanging clothes area, plenty of hot water in the tub/shower. Breakfast was sparse (white bread to toast, waffles, juice, two cereal options, coffee, tea, and non-dairy creamer), and the tiny breakfast area was packed with (very polite) construction crew members. It's right off I-20, so it was a convenient stop on our road trip. There were several chain and non-chain restaurants nearby. We'd stay again.…
I was very impressed with the room. It was newly renovated and I loved the floor without carpet.Bed was a little stiff, but big. I had no problems at all with the room. Breakfast was small but fine . If you want a great room for a great value- stay here!
I was happy with the room and stayed here for three nights while visiting Vicksburg. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The room was a fair size and had chair and foot rest along with a computer work space. Mini fridge and microwave was in good condition. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Good value.
We were thankful to get off of the road, after having traveled from Ardmore, OK. Our room was clean and plenty adequate. We swam for a little which felt wonderful. Breakfast was a bit cramped but I had an interesting talk with a family from France, who told us Europeans take August off for their vacations. We would stay here again.
Well, my first ruin was infested with roaches so I had to be moved. The 2nd room’s air conditioner leaked water all over the room floor all day every day. The cable channels didn’t work at all nor did the internet. The wife rudely questioned my daughters while they were swimming in the pool and accused them of lying about being guests and then she called my personal cell to question me about who they are. The male owner, and husband, I assume was rude to my child while she went to get toilet paper, and then he proceeded to call my personal cell number to literally try and “tattle tail” on her for using the slang word “shawty”, and claiming she was making fun of him and calling him short. I have never had duck a horrible stay anywhere in my life.
