My husband and I keep returning to the Bazinsky House every time we go to Vicksburg. We love staying there! Andrew & David are perfect hosts. When it is just the 2 of us, we love staying in the room that overlooks the River. Large, spacious, comfortable. Has a mini fridge that comes in handy, as well as a Keureg in the room. When we travel with our daughter, we take the room with a king & double bed. The home has been beautifully restored and is in walking distance of restaurants, museums and shopping. It also has a fascinating history! The breakfast is to die for, and different every time. I would definitely recommend.

This was the most wonderful Bnb I've ever been to !! The home was gorgeous inside and out , the bed was incredibly comfortable, the thoughtfulness of the host was top notch, the breakfast was the most delicious both mornings, and I'm sorry to leave! ( Which says a lot because I'm headed to the beach!) I can't think of a single thing to improve on and I'm a picky traveler! The host ,Andrew gave us great recommendations for places to see and restaurants to dine,, all perfect!

Warm and comfortable home filled with history and kind owners. Located within walking distance to downtown museums, stores, restaurants, and more. Within downtown historic district. Original courthouse where Vicksburg surrendered is across the street.

The Bazsinsky House is a home away from home for us, and the hosts are like family. We first stayed here in 2015 while bicycling the length of the Mississippi River, unsupported, on our tandem bicycle. We arrived in Vicksburg, exhausted, and with nowhere to stay. The chamber of commerce recommended this amazing historic B&B and we've never looked back. After two days of rest, breakfasts to die for, and lots of TLC, we were back on the road to complete our trip. We have stayed twice more since, most recently during a driving trip to Texas from Wisconsin to visit family. The house has the look and feel of the Old South. Built just prior to the Civil War (ca. 1861), it sits on a hill near the old courthouse and has a commanding view of the Mississippi River valley. Meticulously restored, modernized, and decorated, it's grand staircase, high ceiling, and spacious, yet cozy, rooms make everything feel just right. The location can't be beat if you want to ditch your car and explore by foot. The downtown area with it's cute little shops, museums, entertainment, and the historic river front with fascinating murals are all within blocks. The Vicksburg National Military Park, a must see for any history buffs, is only two miles away. We can't wait to be back!

Had a lovely stay here on our way back from Texas to Atlanta. Beautiful historic house and friendly owner. Room was spacious and king bed was super comfortable. Room had a nicely renovated private bathroom, good wifi, TV and in-room Keurig and fridge. Owner recommended a great restaurant called 10 South within walking distance that has yummy Southern food and amazing views of the river. We were so glad we discovered this B&B and we will definitely be back!

Staying here is a must if in Vicksburg. The owner Andrew was welcoming, kind and helpful from the outset. He advised on places to visit and to eat and explained the history of the area and of his beautiful house. He also has an adorable dog, Clementine, who you can meet if you wish to! - we recommend you do! Guests have access to a whole floor containing living, dining and kitchen facilities. Our room was sizeable with extremely ornate decor and furnishings and a jacuzzi bath tub! Andrew had provided leaflets on the local area, a coffee/tea maker, bottled water and chocolate! Chatting with Andrew at breakfast allowed for us to hear the whole story of Bazsinsky House and it’s previous residents and usage. The breakfast was light and delicious and set us up for our morning explorations. I read a previous review describing Bazsinsky House as, “a beautiful museum like house that you will thoroughly enjoy staying in” and I couldn’t agree more. We loved it here.

We loved the Bazsinsky House, and it never fails to exceed our expectations. The breakfast is freshly made every morning. Breakfast is amazing! Andrew does a great job making the breakfast and with its presentation. There is a lot of food, not just a coffee and muffin. This is a full breakfast. The room was so quite we couldn't even hear the other guests. We stayed 5 nights and never ran out of places to visit. There is the Vicksburg National Military Park, Vicksburg Civil War Museum, of course the wonderful Mississippi River and more than I can list here! There are so many places to drive to visit and many restaurants and shops are a short walk from the Bazsinsky House. The history of this city and house are so interesting. Andrew is a great storyteller, and he never disappoints! We will definitely be back!

The Bazinsky House is within walking distance to beautiful Downtown Vicksburg. Andrew invited my guest and I into the parlor for a chat about our visit which he gave suggestions on must sees in the area. He told guests about the history of the house and property during the amazing breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity to go back to Vicksburg. ❤
