We had a wonderful time staying at the Corners Mansion in Vicksburg MS. Macy was very hospitable and shared her wealth of knowledge about her home. Joe made us delicious breakfasts that we ate in the lovely dining room with antiques and beautiful wallpaper. The Room ( Library Room) was very comfortable, with lots of books to look through. We enjoyed the other guests and visiting the museums and battlefield in Vicksburg. Very interesting place. We would definitely recommend the Corners Mansion as a great place to stay.

The Corners is a beautiful old home with a delightful owner. We stayed in the master suite and had abundant room. Everything was nicely appointed, and the breakfast served was very good. Their advance communications were good, and they offered great advice during our stay. She offered to arrange private tour of battlefield and provided a CD guided tour to use in our car. Parked easily on the street. This is a one-floor house, so no stairs. Only complaint would be the bathtub is very slow to drain, and you must take a shower with water up to your ankles. Such quirks occur in old homes, and otherwise this is a lovely stay.

I can't tell you if The Corners is the best B&B in Vicksburg because I haven't been to all the B&B's in this friendly little town. In fact I'll never be able to tell you that because I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Macy and Joe made us feel welcome from the first hello to the last goodbye (with a hug). We stayed in the renovated servants quarters. From the Jacuzzi bath with candles to a bed that rivals the most fluffy of clouds our room was a sanctuary for a couple of road weary traveler's. We arrived on our motorcycle and Macy opened the courtyard to us to park in. Macy keeps a book on the history of this stately old mansion and boy is there a lot of history in Vicksburg to be explored. Breakfast is a treat with delicious food and great conversation. The table was set beautifully and even the butter was shaped into cute little designs. We had a wonderful stay with wonderful hosts. Thanks Macy and Joe We'll be back!

We stayed in a king room at the back of the property and not in the main house. If staying, ask about stairs; the ones for the back guest rooms are very steep. The surrounding neighborhood was a little discomforting so I do not recommend taking a walk or going for an early morning run. Also, there is no shower; just a bath tub. Bed was very comfy and toom was moderately clean. Breakfast was amazing and tge inn keeper Macy did a wonderful job. TV and wi-fi were fine. I'm giving it a 3 out of five because the room was average and the toilet quit working the morning we left, but the food was fantastic and the staff was great.

I've read other reviews and noted that the things people didn't like didn't apply to us. Yes, breakfast is on the dot of 9am for everyone around a communal table in a delightful, Chinese-wallpapered dining room. There is no choice, but a selection of good Southern food on beautiful china and the opportunity to (mildly) pretend you are in 1880. Talking to Macy, our hostess, and the other guests was informative and enjoyable as we could swap information on places to visit/already visited. But if you don't like the idea, this place is not for you. We stayed in Galleries 4 where we had a balcony with two rocking chairs (amazingly this was the first time we had two chairs despite staying in some premium historic houses - what do they think couples do - sit in rotation?). We got wine glasses from Macy and sipped our drinks on the balcony looking at the Mississippi while a massive thunderstorm raged round us. It was spectacular. The room was comfortable and pretty. NB if you have a problem with the hot water MENTION IT. It took a flick of a switch to solve it, but one guest had not mentioned it for two days. Macy is the kind of host who will promptly take action over anything wrong. She gave us good advice about restaurants and seeing the Civil War museum in town. The latter was fabulous; we stayed so long we were late getting to Memphis.

Lovely B&B within walking distance of downtown Vicksburg. Mansion with plenty of history and charm. Wonderful group breakfast each day where you can meet the other guests. Owners were helpful in suggesting local things to do and places to eat. Highly recommended.

This is a must stay stop if you are passing through Vicksburg. The proprietors were delightful and accommodating. We were impressed with how comfortable the beds and linens were - it was hard to want to get out of bed. Coffee on the porch in the morning with the birds was a perfect start to the day. They have done an amazing job of keeping the historic feel with period furniture and decor, while adapting to modern conveniences, like individually room temperature controls. Breakfast was superb and the company was delightful. We can't wait to have an excuse to visit again!

Macy and Co. are the most gracious hosts! We always recommend visiting family and friends stay at The Corners. It’s the best breakfast in Vicksburg, and the tour was so informative! The decor of the home is thoughtful and true to the architectural style of the period. A must-see!

Macy, owner, was helpful and informative and gave us great suggestion about places to shop and eat. She has a good grasp of information about her house and the community's history. The home is located close to the historical and shopping district. The breakfast served was hearty and delightfully presented in the main dining room. Macy had coffee available in sitting area by 7 which was helpful because it was not easy to make coffee in the room because of its placement. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the beds are high. The grounds and trees are well manicured and beautiful however during the summer it would be helpful to bring bug spray. The mosquitoes were awful especially if you walked in the grass. Some consideration for the elderly: the tub is not conducive to most people over 70 or with any type of handicapping condition. The tub is very deep, has no closure and the shower could easily spray on to the floor. Macy acknowledged the tub issue to me on the phone call but it was my only choice because I was bringing my pet. Also a consideration is the throw rugs in the main house. They can be very hazardous and was for my husband and sister so be careful walking as well as the brick pathway leading to the room Quarters 1 and 2 are uneven. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the hospitality.

The Corners Mansion definitely takes you back to a time that was more simple, more personal, and exactly what a historic B&B should be. Luckily this jewel on the Mighty Mississippi survived COVID-19 lockdowns and is working hard to bring the city back. Macy is an excellent hostess and my family enjoyed going back in time!
