We stopped at the Duff Mansion to break up a trip from Florida to TX and it didn’t feel like a pit stop at all but one of our favorite parts of our whole trip! This beautiful home is like stepping back in time. We ended up ordering pizza and eating by the pool because we didn’t want to leave for dinner. The home is just a 5 min drive from the Vicksburg National Military Museum. The service was wonderful. I highly recommend!

My family and I recently stayed at the Duff Green Mansion. We stayed in the Confederate room and it was just perfect for the 4 of us. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of. Harley is a wonderful hostess and she and her staff served us a truly delicious breakfast. While we chose the Duff Green because it is haunted, we did not see anything. However, you can definitely feel the present of those who have lived there before. We highly recommend The Duff Green Mansion.

So glad we stayed here! The house and furnishings are gorgeous, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and the location can’t be beat. A full multi course breakfast is served at 8:30 in the morning followed with a tour and history of the house. The breakfast is true southern antebellum style with cake for dessert! The pool and courtyard are relaxing and secluded.

I booked the Dixie room hoping to encounter a spirit. We did not. But, we had a great stay. Easy check in. Dinner suggestion was on point. Breakfast was amazing. And we learned much about the mansion and Vicksburg during the informational tour after breakfast.
