Went for tour, but they were serving brunch. So we passed the time by eating brunch! My shrimp and grits were so good. My husband and friend got the Salisbury steak and her husband got pork loin. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Then dessert! The Plantation Trifle and peach cobbler were wonderful! One day we will go back and stay at the B&B.

We had the best stay here at the end of 2018! I just had a memory pop up on my Facebook and realized I forgot to leave a review!! I travelled with my sister and mother on this trip. We drove from Memphis to New Orleans. This place was a stunning place to stay and rest, the rooms comfortable and more than accommodating. I lost an item here and contacted the staff who kindly arranged for it to be sent to our next hotel! Such amazing service.

Anchuca is a lovely home in the historic district of Vicksburg that offers upscale dining, house tours, and accommodation. The food is outstanding as is the personal service rendered by all the staff members. The house is attractively furnished if nothing special as far as antebellum homes are concerned. The lodging is adequate but not great. If you are up for an elegant meal in Vicksburg, this is the place for you. Adjust your expectations, and you'll come away pleased with the house tour and rooms as well.

Great interior look of pre civil war wealthy merchant house some very nice antique fixtures. Owner does the tour very informative and entertaining. He also gives lots of background of area today and civil war timelines. Looks like great B&B to stay at. We tie this into a walking tour of neighbors which included two other smaller homes an church these too were covered by the owner and minister (Old town tours). Great talks in both locations.
