The DoubleTree is in the Hilton chain and costs less than the rooms at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The location is great- easy walking distance to the beach and all the Hilton Hawaiian Village has to offer. The Expedia concierge (Christian- you rock!) was super helpful in setting up 5 days of activities for us. The room was comfortable, and we...

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff is incredible and will do whatever it takes to make your stay the best possible. Clinton Y. -- the manager is top notch -- again going above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay the best possible. We are using hilton honors points and our room...

Good clean hotel. A little out of the way from main strips of Waikiki but definitely within walking distance for adults. A little inconvenient if you plan to stay on the beach most days. It's on the main rain road so balcony pretty unusable due to noise. Buffet breakfast spread is ok but not enough variety to keep eating there...

Stayed here last week with my family. Short walking distance from Waikiki Beach. Lots of eateries around. Definitely a "middle of the road" type of hotel. Parking at $30/day is a bit high, but still ok considering how expensive taxis are in Hawaii.

They gave away the room I had (via HIlton Honors) already checked in to online, and put us in a room without enough beds. It took an hour at midnight with tired kids to sort it out. The front desk was ok but poor communication and when a manager got involved it got worse. He started making excuses. Finally we...

My family of 5 (3 children) stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We chose this hotel to be near the start line of honolulu marathon. The check in process was very efficient and we were given yummy choc chips cookies. The room was very comfortable and good enough size, with extra living room-like annexed to the main bedroom. Sofa...

Didn't find this place very pleasing, located at a 20 minutes walking distance from Waikiki beach. Rooms were good but services were ok.Not recommended for those whose need feel of a beach resort. Overall a fair experience nothing wow about this place.

The hotel is located at a walking distance from the Waikiki beach. This is an economy hotel (although the hotel is a bit expensive if you want to visit Hawaii in Winter). The hotel room was different from what I expected (I expected similar hotels in San Francisco which I stayed before). The hotel looked a bit old, but the...

The hotel is perfectly acceptable if you are just stopping over in Honolulu and staying for a night or two. I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays. It's not a resort style hotel, it's more of a business class hotel. The pool area is small and the beach is a decent walk away. The room furnishings and bathrooms are quite...
