A good location and the main building is lovely but the rest of the hotel is just standard rooms. The pool is small, the seats around the pool are all gone by 7am and the beach outside crowded. You can sit in a hotel area of the beach for a 'nominal' $50 fee! The food is great and the heavenly...

Even if I completely abandon my high expectations of this hotel before our arrival and am filled with grace mixed with love and understanding, my review of this hotel is still combination of noise and annoyance. We arrived and were blinded by the sun reflecting off of the white paint all over this hotel. It should stand out a little...

We really enjoy staying at the Moana Surfrider (still think of it as a Sheraton property!) with the wonderful facade and the great old banyan in the courtyard. It has an understated elegance that makes you feel comfortable and special. We always request the original section, the tower rooms are just like any of the newer hotel rooms without the...

You can't go wrong with this hotel, that is you have deep pockets. The location it self was just amazing! The beach on one side, and the high street on the other. Its a classic hotel, therefore lacks certain modern touchs that you get in more modern hotel. Service provided was Good, but not compared to Asian hotels. The breakfast...

The Surfrider is rich in history and Hawaiian culture. It is beautiful and clean. The food is good (but very expensive); and the staff, for the most part is nice. It's on the beach, although we ended up walking to Kuhio for more protected waters. We have to say it is overpriced and underserviced. ($350 a night for a street...

Excellent hotel located in the heart of Wakiki. The staff and services at the hotel were great and very accommodating to whatever we needed. Friendly, professional, and always there to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The tours and activities staff was great as well and they made sure we got what we wanted. I would highly recommend this...

A lovely hotel, beautifully furnished. The location is great - right on the beach. The whole ambience is super and feels special. It was a nice touch to receive a flower or nut lei when we arrived. It was a great start to the holiday. After a long flight we wanted to freshen up but our room wasn't ready -...

Historic hotel with history and elegance. Great location, very beautiful. We stayed a partial ocean view room at the tower wing. The room was renovated, so was clean and spacious. Might not be as historic as the historic rooms, but for me I enjoyed it because it was nice and clean.

This place is most elegant, however, you still get that laid back feeling! With old plantation style and open breeze flowing through the entire Foyer, reaching beyond and into the open-air restaurant. Original hardwood flooring in Lobby, from 1901. This was one of few original hotels where vacationers relaxed before the bombing of "Pearl Harbor". Exquisite landmark! We stayed in...

Poolside cocktail service has really fallen off. Waitresses come by once an hour and aren't too friendly. The one exception is the girl who formerly worked for Disney Resorts is Florida, she was great. Her Disney training really shines in an otherwise under-enaging staff. Gloria, Mo, and Isaac at the poolside towel service are great. This hotel is Classic Hawaii....
