Don't be mislead by the very nice lobby. Once you get upstairs, the hallways are drab and dreary, and the rooms are about the same. It's all clean, just desperately needs updating. Pros: - Convenient location - Reasonably helpful staff - WiFi worked well - HVAC was reasonably quiet - Good breakfast that was reasonably priced given the location -... More

I realize that not everyone can update their hotel however this place is considerably bad. I'm extremely not happy with the lack of air conditioning there's no desk in the room a huge dresser with a flat screen TV but a very small refrigerator and a bathroom from the 80s. The carpet is Dusty and smells. The only good thing... More

This is a great budget friendly hotel (when compared to say, the Sheraton Waikiki). Rooms are small and minimal, but how much time are you spending in your hotel in Hawaii anyway? Bathroom was passable, same with the breakfast buffet. If you're looking for luxe, this isn't your friend, but the location is convenient- easy walk to Waikiki beach, starbucks,... More

We chose this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend and I think this might be the end of our friendship. Not only is this place a total dump, but the valet (which they force you to use for $30/day if you want to park) stole my husband's brand new sunglasses. The only positive is that they do offer... Like much of Honolulu, this hotel has the distinct feel of a place that has seen better days. It is located close to the beach and Honolulu Zoo. Being at the end of the main Waikiki beachfront strip, its surroundings are a bit less hectic than you will find elsewhere in the area. If you have kids, the zoo is... More

The Queen Kapiolani was a great place to stay for a couple of nights in Waikiki. The location is at the South East end of the strip which is a little less busy than the other end and is close to the beach. The staff were friendly and the room was OK. The only thing that irritated me was that... More

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Best ocean view I've had in Waikiki. Cons: Old, small room. Wifi didn't make it to the 12th floor. The hotel is on the edge of Waikiki, but this is actually a positive. ie. Your room may have an unobstructed view of the ocean (like ours) and of Diamond Head (we could just see it). It's... More

I stayed here with my gf for 6 nights. From the moment we arrived to the entire stay it was perfectly fine.
