Do not look at the stars classification: a NICE hotel in the shopping area of Honolulu !!! we had 3 great overnights stays as part of a group: friendly & helpful staff, great-spacious-clean rooms with all the amenities ( and possible more) You would find in Waikiki but in a much peaceful atmosphere. We used to book in Waikiki area...

the place hasn't changed, the neighborhood looks different. I guess there weren't so many high rise building around that area in 1977!. The hotel itself is pretty much the same which can be bad or good depending on what you're looking for. A friend booked as we were going to a concert at the blaisdell Arena. The Pagoda is a...

I spent three nights in October 2016 at the Pagoda Hotel on an unexpected trip to Honolulu when my sister ended up in nearby Straub Medical Center hospital. This hotel was the nearest (1.1 mile) of the suggested places to stay provided by the hospital. 25 minute walk or ride back and forth on the #1 or #2 buses for...

I am a former kamaina(resident) so I wanted to go to a place where locals go so I could feel at home. I was not disappointed. It was like traveling back in time. Lots of local people at the hotel and pidgin(local dialect) being spoken. There was several things that I wanted and again, I was not disappointed. The location...

I usually do the breakfast buffet. Happy hour is a good deal also. Many small but tasty restaurants near by. Also a few spas and massage parlors. Thai...
