Spent a week there. The hotel/timeshare is conveniant located in downtown Waikiki. The room I stayed at has one bedroom, two full bath, living room, kitchen, and two balconies. There is a convenience store (ABC) and diner (Denny's) at ground floor. There is a pool on upper floor.

They are in the process of renovating the property, and it needed it for sure. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. My only complaint is that the air conditioning couldn't keep up, or even cool our suite below 80 degrees. The staff was friendly and did everything in their power to make our stay enjoyable, including having a... More

Initially we were allocated a room that only had a pull-down Murphy bed. Upon complaining about this, we were able, by paying more, to move to a room with a bedroom. The room also had a kitchen, which we didn't use but would be good for families or those wanting to self-cater. The rooms are only serviced twice a week.... More

The good: If you want to be in downtown Waikiki - this is it. The price was very competitive compared with other local hotels. My room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and I sincerely enjoyed the outside sitting area. It was great to have weights in addition to cardio machines, in the gym; and while I didn't use... More

My family (2 adults and 2 adult children) have just enjoyed a weeks holiday at the Imperial. We had a Palm room which is a 1 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with 2 Queen beds in the bedroom and a pull down Murphy bed in the lounge. Ours was on the 14th floor with a peep of the sea from our... More

I had read some less than stellar reviews as we were preparing for our family trip to Hawaii and were going to stay at this resort. Naturally, I was a little concerned. However, I'm happy to say that this place was very nice and we had a great time. First, the valet service guys were great, very fast, always ready... More

We stayed for 1 week. The resort is nestled in an excellence location just yards for the beach and exclusive shopping. My major complaint was the rooms were very old and stale. The carpet is in desperate need of deep cleaning and the air from the vents smelled of mold.

I had 2 nights at the Imperial and it was a very pleasant experience. My studio apartment was on the 5th floor and a little dark because of other building. There was plenty of electrical lights in there though. The pool on the roof top was nice and the staff was friendly. I used the express checkout which was both... More

We stayed for two weeks at this hotel on a timeshare exchange with two nights on the big island sandwiched between the weeks. As many recent reviewers have said, the place is undergoing renovation in the common areas, so we encountered some noise, elevators not working, pool closed for a couple days, and the owner's lounge closed for several days.... My husband and I just stayed here for our honeymoon! My parents are timeshare owners so we had the added privilege of using the 26th floor owners lounge which offered spectacular view of the Waikiki beach! Our room was on the 7th floor and our lanai looked out to a parking garage so our view was less than ideal but... More
